Taylor Swift cancelled three shows of the European leg of her worldwide ERAS Tour in Vienna after Austrian authorities notified the singer, that they had uncovered credible evidence of a planned terror attack and arrested two teenage suspects.
"Franz Ruf, the public security director at Austria's Interior Ministry, said on Wednesday that both suspects were radicalized online. Both had made noticeable changes in their lives in recent weeks, with the 19-year-old leaving his job and the 17-year-old breaking up with his girlfriend, according to Ruf. Both suspects are Austrian citizens, Haijawi-Pirchner said Thursday, without naming them," reported The Washington Post.

The two suspects arrested had explosive devices and other weapons in their homes, and the plot, according to media sources, was to stage the attack outside the stadium where the concerts were scheduled to be held.
As Swift's ERAS tour is the highest-grossing tour in history, fans have found a way to be a part of the "Taylor-gating" phenomenon that has accompanied her concerts. More than 40K Taylor Swift fans gathered outside the Munich, Germany venue recently to catch a glimpse of the show and be a part of what has become an experience.
Taylor Swift's team has not commented on the cancellation. A post on X said that Disney+ will air the concert film "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) on Saturday, August 10, at 9:45 pm on Austrian television ORF1.

American Film Market Moves to Vegas
The American Film Market, which usually holds its annual global film marketing event in Santa Monica, has moved to the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
With more than 100 exhibitors, buyers, sellers, and production companies already scheduled to attend, this year's event is expected to surpass previous years
According the AFM website, "Exhibitors to date include major international companies and organizations such as A24, AGC Studios, Altitude Film Sales, Arclight Films, Black Bear Pictures, Blue Fox Entertainment, Charades, Cinema Management Group, Film Factory Entertainment, FilmNation, GOODFELLAS /Wild Bunch International, Highland Film Group, Inc., Lionsgate, NEON, Pathé Films, STUDIOCANAL, Telepool GmbH, The Match Factory, Trust Nordisk, Unifrance, The Veterans, Vision Films, Inc., Voltage Pictures, WestEnd Films, WME Independent, and XYZ Films, among many others.
The American Film Market is scheduled to be held from November 5 through November 10, 2024.

Academy Museum Announces August Screening Series
The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures announced the upcoming screening series scheduled through the month of August. Angelenos can celebrate dozens of neighborhoods around the Southland with a diverse array of films in our Summer in the City: Los Angeles, Block by Block film series.
