Election 2016: Donald Trump Names VP; Governor Mike Pence Accepts; Clinton Waiting to Announce

The Republican National Convention, the convocation for Donald J. Trump and his presumptive Vice-Presidential Candidate Governor Mike Pence of Indiana, is set to begin Monday in Cleveland, Ohio, declaring the themes of Making America Great Again.

With all the clamoring throughout the primary process declaring Donald Trump’s inadequacies as a presidential candidate and the failure of party stalwarts to stand with the chosen candidate of the people, the RNC speaker line up is surprisingly well balanced with the standard bearers and GOP leaders of tomorrow, businessmen and women, family, friends and special guests who are worth the effort and investment to listen.

The Convention promises to be a fuller, more comprehensive presentation of the RNC National Platform, with clarification of platform and core issues recorded and the delegate pledge process confirmation.

Making America Safe Again is Monday’s theme, Making America Work Again, Tuesday; Making America First Again; Wednesday; and closing Thursday with Making America Great Again.

Speakers of note on Monday include Texas Governor Rick Perry, Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Actors Antonio Sabato Jr. and Scott Baio, three soldiers who fought in the battle of Benghazi, two mothers of heroic soldiers who died in Benghazi, Immigration reform advocates, GOP leaders in the House and Senate and Melania Trump finishes the day.  

Tuesday Speakers include Dr. Ben Carson, in primetime, Governor Chris Christie, U.S. House Majority leader Keven McCarthy and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Family members include Donald Trump, Jr. and Tiffany Trump. RNC dignitaries and other political leaders will also provide insight into the GOP platform.

Wednesday’s program begins in primetime at 7:00pm EST. GOP party heavyweights Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Ted Cruz, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, Newt & Callista Gingrich and family member Eric Trump will lead into the final speech by Indiana Governor Mike Pence.

Thursday’s program includes Venture Capitalist Peter Thiel, creator of Paypal and Facebook investor. Ivanka Trump will provide the introduction speech to her father’s and presumptive Republican Presidential Candidate, Donald J. Trump’s speech and acceptance of the party’s nomination.

Hillary Clinton Maintains a Battle Strategy During Trump’s Convention

Hillary Clinton, doesn’t plan to take the week off, while the Republican National Convention holds the Democratic Bash-Fest across the river in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Democratic National Convention is set to begin July 25, 2016. Democratic Heavyweights will gather in Philadelphia along with a host of celebrities and business leaders to provide Hillary and her yet to be named Vice-Presidential pick the support to create a stronger together message.
