Bears on the Server premiering on the Chill, the multimedia platform for web viewing, is the first honest history of E-sports in Russia and delves into the competitive world of gaming and how it became a career choice.

According to the director of the series, Kirill Alekhine, " They have never filmed such a large-scale, meticulously and at the same time warmly about our e-sports. For us, Bears on the Server is a personal story. We also skipped school in clubs, fought for MMR, we love games for a long time and sincerely ... And we found for the film the same heroes who are in love and burning with eSports."
"Bears on the Server" is a great journey through time and country. From 1996 - the first computer club in the back of an office equipment store - to the Russian Esports Championship-2022. From Vladivostok, where the training camp stands on the shores of the Sea of Japan, to the villages of the Surgut region: here esports classes are opened in sports centers and museums. Stops - in Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Krasnodar and Belgorod. Ten cities. Over twenty heroes. The history of eSports in "Bears on the Server" is told by those who lived it.
"We wanted to show that esports is not only about champions. These are thousands of gamers who are unlikely to ever get to the world tournament, but have connected their lives with games - and this has made them happier," says the director.
