The film was presented by the director of the project Nurbek Egen, the performer of the role of the most famous detective in the world, Maxim Matveyev (Chopard watches from the LUC Lunar Big Date collection) and producers of the series Irina Sosnovaya and Alexandra Remizova, and Stas Tyrkin, a member of the selection committee of the Moscow International Film Festival, presented the guests. The guests of the event were: Marina Zudina (Mercury earrings), Roman Mayakin, Sabina Akhmedova (Mercury earrings), Ekaterina Guseva, Kirill Kyaro, Alexandra Revenko, Daria Ekamasova and others.

According to the plot, Sherlock Holmes (Maxim Matveyev) follows the trail of Jack the Ripper. The maniac has already killed several women in London, each time leaving messages at the scene of the murder addressed to the detective. After an unsuccessful fight with an assassin, in which Watson is wounded, Holmes realizes that his opponent has fled ... to the Russian Empire.

Having rented a room on Pekarskaya Street from Dr. Kartsev (Vladimir Mishukov), Holmes together with him unravels terrible crimes, despite the opposition of the local police. In St. Petersburg, no one has heard of deduction - the methods of the London detective are not taken seriously. Another assistant to the detective is Sophia (Irina Starshenbaum) from St. Petersburg, whose relationship grows for the Englishman into something more than a joint investigation.

Moscow International Film Festival Hosts Three Days of Informative Industry Sessions

"We are glad that the premiere of the series "Sherlock in Russia" took place within the framework of the Moscow International Film Festival, of which START is the official partner this year. It is a great honor for us that "Sherlock in Russia" became the only series shown at the Moscow International Film Festival, and we thank the festival and the KARO network for the opportunity to show our project on the big screen. I think that irony, thanks to which Holmes copes with all difficulties and solves cases, is now especially necessary for all of us," says the producer of the project, Irina Sosnovaya.
