The best film of 2021 was Alexey Sidorov's World Champion, which also received awards for best actor, director, cinematography and music for the film.

Further, Karen Shakhnazarov announced that the prize of the national film award "Golden Eagle" "For contribution to the art of cinema" is posthumously awarded to film director, permanent president of the National Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Russia - Vladimir Naumov. He passed away at the end of November 2021.

The audience watched a commemorative video about him with his great works to the music of "Eternal Love" from the movie "Tehran 43".

"I knew Vladimir Naumovich well, not only as an outstanding master, who, by the way, shot a lot in this pavilion. He made absolute masterpieces, such as, in my opinion, the best film about the civil war "Running", "Peace incoming", "Tehran-43". This is a completely original person , "Shakhnazarov said, noting that he was an outstanding cinematographer in every sense.

The widow of the cinematographer, actress Natalia Belokhvostikova, received the award from the hands of the general director of Mosfilm. After that, the organizers and guests, to the music of Eduard Artemiev "Three Comrades" from the film "Friend among Strangers, Stranger Among Friends" performed by the orchestra, decided to honor the memory of prominent cinema figures who left last year, among whom were actors Sergey Puskepalis, Inna Churikova, Evgenia Brik and others. Artemiev himself also died in 2022.

Actress Anna Snatkina took the stage to announce the winners in the first nominations. The award for "Best Short Film" went to the director of the film "A" Tatyana Zhukova. She admitted that so far she has not been able to make a feature film, but she hopes that this award will help her in this.

The prize for the Best Animated Film went to Denis Chernov, director of the Finik film, who said that hundreds of people are always behind the creation of animation projects, this is a very long and painstaking process, so he is grateful to the team that went along with him this way.

In the nomination "Best Non-Fiction Film" the project "Phase of the Moon" directed by Andrey Osipov won.

Cyber ​​Studios won the Best Visual Effects category for Once Upon a Time in the Desert. The prize was received by the director of the studio Vyacheslav Boltenkov.

Alexander Koshelev, who worked on the Once Upon a Desert project, received the award for Best Film Editing .

Further, to announce the winners, the composer, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, five-time winner of the Golden Eagle, Yuri Poteenko, was invited to the stage. Rostislav Alimov received the Best Sound Engineer Award for the film The Heart of Parma.

The prize "For the best music for the film" was received by Artem Vasiliev for his work on the film "World Champion". The second nominee for the main award was presented next - the film "World Champion". The performance was based on an original vocal and choral production, which echoed the frames from the film.

After that, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Tatyana Lyutaeva took the stage to present the following awards.

Ekaterina Dyminskaya for the film The Heart of Parma won in the Best Costume Design nomination. Receiving the prize, she admitted that when she read the novel by Alexei Ivanov, she really dreamed of working on his film adaptation. And it came true, although it turned out to be a very difficult test in her profession.

Pavel Novikov, Vladimir Trapeznikov (film "The Heart of Parma") received the prize for the "Best Production Design" award.

Theater and film actress, People's Artist of Russia Marina Zudina presented awards in categories related to online platforms.

Anna Mikhalkova became the Best Actress in an Online Series for her role in the project Alice Can't Wait.

Academicians chose Nikita Efremov as the best actor in an online series for his role in the TV series Patient Zero - he thanked the creators of the project for taking on such a difficult topic.

And Timur Alpatov's project "Artist" received the prize as the "Best Series of Online Platforms" .

Then there was the presentation of the film "The Heart of Parma", based on the synthesis of two cultures: ethnic performance on the Yakut national instrument khomus and tambourines, turning into Russian folk melodies performed by Olena Uutai and the musical group "Ethnosphere".

After that, actress Ekaterina Klimova presented television awards.

The prize for "Best Actress on Television" was awarded to Yulia Khlynina (TV series "Elizaveta").

Evgeniy Stychkin (TV series Alibi) became the winner in the Best Actor on Television nomination .

The prize for "Best Screenplay" was given to Petr Todorovsky (film "Healthy Man").

In the nomination "Best Cinematography" the award went to Mikhail Milashin for the film "World Champion".

The fifth film competing for the main prize - "Once in the Desert" - was presented by duduk player Anton Kotikov and actress Galina Shemanskaya, who read the literary and poetic work "This is Love".

The winners in the acting nominations were announced by director Alexei Uchitel, who pointed out that the whole further path of the film depends on the actors.

Actress Irina Starshenbaum received the award for Best Actress in a Film for the film Healthy Man.

The award for "Best Actor in a Movie" went to Ivan Yankovsky, who starred in the film "World Champion". Receiving the prize, Ivan told how difficult it was for him to get used to the role and how director Alexei Sidorov demanded more from him.

Director Alexei Sidorov was also awarded for the film "World Champion". "I am extremely touched, thank you very much for such a high appreciation of my work," he thanked.

In addition, the film "World Champion" also got the main statuette - for "Best feature film" . The award was received by director Alexei Sidorov, producers Anton Zlatopolsky, Rafael Minasbekyan.
