Nokonoshima Island is an eggplant-shaped island in Hakata Bay, part of Nishi Ward, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The island stretches 3.5 km from north to south, 2 km from east to west, and has a circumference of about 12 km.

Just a 10-minute ferry ride from Meinohama Ferry Passenger Terminal in central Fukuoka City, it is a popular day-trip destination known for its vibrant natural environment.
