Norton will be at Faith Gallery for the premiere of "Behold Your Mother: A Vibrant, Yet Contemplative Exhibit about the Blessed Mother." Her artwork inspires people to reflect on all that the Mother of God is and does in our everyday lives.

"We are excited to have Jen and her art at the Museum of Family Prayer," said Father Fred Jenga, C.S.C., president of Holy Cross Family Ministries, which is home to the museum. "Her work is an exciting contemporary look of Mary's impact on our daily lives. A celebration will mark the opening exhibit for our new Faith Gallery. "I make artwork that celebrates the traditions of our Catholic faith with a contemporary, colorful twist," Norton said. "For me, painting is a form of prayer that helps reveal my mission as a Christian woman and the power of the Holy Spirit. I believe we are influenced by our environments, and having decor that reflects our faith is essential to supporting our children and families in an unbelieving world."

The Museum of Family Prayer is a contemporary experience that engages people in the history and power of prayer. Opened in 2019, it offers a unique, interactive experience of prayer using digital media for the entire family to come together to listen, watch, reflect and pray.

The museum continues the work of sainthood candidate Father Patrick Peyton, C.S.C., who encouraged families to pray every day, especially the Rosary. He was known worldwide for his massive live Rosary events, some gathering as many as 2 million people. Through television and film, his famous expression became a household phrase: "The family that prays together stays together." Learn more about his life at www.FatherPeyton.org.

The grand opening of the Faith Galley and exhibit by artist Jen Norton are free and open to the public. The museum is an accessible facility. At the end of the celebration, people will receive a free gift with family prayer resources.
