Money News: DOW, US Markets Mauled in Q3 2015

Stocks closed out the day on Wednesday higher than previous days, but not enough to recover from an otherwise rough third quarter. Heading into Wednesday, the Dow was down 8.9%, its worst performance since the third quarter of 2011.
The S&P 500 was down 8.7% as of Tuesday's close and the NASDAQ was 9.4% down. Below are visualizations of the Dow's, S&P 500's, and NASDAQ’s performance in the third quarter of 2014 versus the third quarter of 2015.
