Election 2016: Trump Sold Mansion to Russian Billionaire Linked to Alfa Bank

The Democratic Coalition Against Trump revealed as part of its #TrumpLeaks revealed the GOP nominee may have stronger connections to Alfa Bank than originally thought. As reported by Slate, a Trump server maintained communications with a server at Russia's Alfa Bank.

In 2008, Donald Trump sold his Palm Beach, Florida mansion for $95 million to Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev. Dmitry Rybolovlev owns Uralkali, a Russian potash fertilizer producer and exporter that is traded on the London and Moscow stock exchanges, and Uralkali's HR Director, Ruslan Ilyasov, spent two years as the Head of HR at Alfa Bank.

"I would like to see Trump and his campaign attempt to deny this link, as they have denied having any communications with the bank, or with any Russian entity whatsoever," said Scott Dworkin, Senior Advisor to the Democratic Coalition Against Trump. "Trump has too much dirty laundry to ever lead the United States, as I'm sure the American people will prove on Election Day."
