CURE SPA Malibu Celebrates Grand Opening

CURE MED SPA recently celebrated the grand opening of its Malibu location with a launch party that introduced a select group of media, celebrities and guests to its newest facilities overlooking the incredible Pacific Ocean.

CURE MED SPA MALIBU created by Dr. Lisa Benya, who has been serving Malibu for over 10 years in her private practice, has expanded into a spacious facility with several treatment rooms, and a large private deck overlooking Dume Point, the Pacific Coast Highway.

Our philosophy is full body wellness from the inside out, “said Dr. Benya.  CURE MED SPA MALIBU offers a Top Ten specialties including: The Spot which attacks stubborn hyperigmentation; The Movement, a sixty minute warm stone and abdomen massage and acupuncture treatment; The Sleeper a Swedish massage using chamomile and lavender essential oils; The Head Case a thirty minute massage focusing on the neck, shoulders and scalp; The Joint 30 minute custom chiropractic service combined with a 60 minute deep tissue massage; The Fix, a customized addiction treatment using  acupuncture and also includes a 60 minute Swedish massage; The Wrinkle, a complimentary  consultation and Boxtox injections; The Firm, a personalized workout  specially tailored to fit your fitness level and needs; The Sneezer utilizing herbs  to release the blockages  in the sinus and provide relief to allergy; The Blues a combination massage modalities used in conjunction with citrus to uplift the spirits.

Special guests included Malibu locals sprinkled with surprise VIP guests including internationally acclaimed fashion designer Kevan Hall, Shiva Rose McDermott of
www.thelocalrose.com, was in the mix, as well as award winning actress Lorraine Toussaint.

Guests enjoyed California dry apple champagne by Domaine Le Mieux. Vintner Sonja Magdevski hung out with renowned Malibu Architect Ron Goldman of Goldman, Firth and Rossi. Sonja was serving "Sonja's Suds", a remarkable sparkling rose from the Malibu winery she runs together with her fiancé Emilio Estevez.

Top Model Ana Alexander was seen nibbling on sushi hosted by NOBU. Actor Karl Yune enjoyed a mini spa treatment, and celebrity trainer for Kate Hudson, Nicole Stewart sipped on a Health Ade Kambucha cocktail while waiting for a facial by OSEA organics. Exotic cars for the evening were provided by Auto Gallery.

Guests were also treated with delicious mouth watering Christopher Elbow Artisanal Chocolates provided a fusion of luscious dark chocolates filled with various flavored ganache including Raspberry Pate de Fruit topped with a raspberry ganache and Venezuelan Dark prepared with dark chocolate ganache of 70% cacao from Venezuela.

Guests were treated to Hors d’oeuvres courtesy of NoBu of Malibu including a selection of Sushi’s as well as a fusion of local fresh vegetables including Brussel Sprouts with champagne mustard and walnuts, broccoli, Seaweed salad, Field Greens with Matsuhisa Dressing and Seaweed Salad.

Perched on a hill above PCH across from two of Malibu's hottest destinations, the new NOBU and The Malibu Beach Inn, CURE MED SPA MALIBU is a welcomed luxury to locals and visitors alike.
