Celeb Photos: Premieres and Parties at the Annual Austin Film & Music Festival

Hollywood event company A-List Communications wrapped its annual premiere program of film events at its popular Arts & Cinema Centre with sponsors Maestro Dobel Tequila and Blue Moon Brewing at Basecamp and Summit venues located at 120 West 5th Street in Austin, TX.

As showery conditions gave way to brilliant warm sunshine, on Sunday, March 13, A-List hosted the pre-premiere cocktail party for the official SXSW entry TRUST with directors Alex and Benjamin Brewer and starring Elijah Wood on the panoramic rooftop of the brand-new Summit venue overlooking downtown Austin.

Star Nicholas Cage was reported to have fallen ill near departure time and was unable to fly. Elijah Wood worked the room in his Cage’s absence, wearing his trademark rolled up jeans and smoking frequent cigarettes.

Down below at sister venue Basecamp, Hollywood daily THE WRAP hosted a celebrity portrait and interview studio.  Guests included: MISS STEVEN's Lily Rabe, Julia Hart and Rob Huebel; MASTER CLEANSE’s Johnny Galecki; THE OTHER HALF's Tatiana Maslany and Tom Cullen; TRUST's Elijah Wood and directors Alex & Ben Brewer; ANOTHER EVIL’s Steve Zissis and Mark Proksch.

THE BANDIT’s star Burt Reynolds and director Jesse Moss; WAR ON EVERYONE’s stars Michael Peña and Alexander Skarsgård; MIDNIGHT SPECIAL’S Jeff Nichols, Michael Shannon, Kirsten Dunst and Joel Edgerton; and many more.

Michael Shannon and Joel Edgarton endured the hot afternoon rooftop photo shoot with cold Blue Moon beers. Tatiana Maslany, one of the starlet darlings on this year's SXSW Festival, was active promoting the film with co-star and boyfriend Tom Cullen.

The evening before, Summit hosted the post premiere party for the western IN A VALLEY OF VIOLENCE with Director, Ti West and stars Ethan Hawke, Toby Huss and others, partying on the panoramic rooftop of the Summit venue overlooking downtown Austin.

Ethan Hawke, star of the film, was in good spirits accommodating selfies with fans attending the party. He also showed up hungry; film producers slightly over compensated by ordering in an astounding 42 pizzas.

The events were all sponsored by Maestro Dobel® Tequila and Miller-Coors Brewing. Maestro Dobel® Tequila offered specialty cocktails including its signature “Black Diamond Margarita” and Miller-Coors will offer its Blue Moon Brewing selections to attending A-list talent, media and filmmakers.
