Golden Globes Winners

The 82nd annual Golden Globe, honoring excellence in Motion Pictures and Television, took place last night at the Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills. Comedian Nikki Glaser hosted the televised event  in the first awards show of the 2025 season. 

Stars of film and television filled the Grand Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton hotel. The Golden Globes are often considered the precursor to the upcoming nominations in both the British Academy of Film and Television and also the Academy Award nominations. However, this year's there were surprises and snubs and some clarity for the upcoming award nominations.

BAFTA nominees will be announced Wednesday, January 15, 2025, and Oscar nominees on Friday, January 17, 2025.
