Yale Entertainment Launches Great Escape

Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckerman of Yale Entertainment have announced the formation of their new international film sales and distribution company, Great Escape with veteran Nicholas Donnermeyer and plan to launch at the virtual European Film Market.

Established to represent their rapidly growing slate of in-house titles and select third party content. The company will formally unveil and elaborate on their strategy at the forthcoming virtual European Film Market.

Nicholas Donnermeyer has been appointed President of the new enterprise, which sits under the Yale Entertainment umbrella alongside its long-standing production arm, Yale Productions.  The group also recently formed Lafayette Pictures alongside director/actor Katie Holmes and have just wrapped two features which Holmes directed and starred in, Alone Together, with Jim Sturgess and Melissa Leo, and Rare Objects with Derek Luke and Alan Cumming.

We've identified sales as the next target in this expansion, and we're thrilled to have Nick bring his years of experience and relationships to this new venture, and help us capitalize on our built-in pipeline of films," said Levine and Beckerman."

Yale Entertainment will continue to service the varied needs of the independent film community while also bolstering its' feature slate - bringing together action and thriller titles in addition to auteur fare, whilst continuing to back first-time filmmakers with unique voices. Recently completed productions include: Banshee with Antonio Banderas; Panama starring Cole Hauser and Mel Gibson; High Heat starring Olga Kurylenko and Don Johnson; and Mayim Bialik's As Sick as They Made Us starring Dianna Agron and Dustin Hoffman.

Donnermeyer previously served as President of international film sales company Bleiberg Entertainment, where he oversaw the acquisition of over 100 titles. He is also an Executive Producer on the upcoming Liam Neeson thriller In the Land of Saints and Sinners directed by Robert Lorenz, with previous credits including The Iceman, starring Michael Shannon, Winona Ryder and Chris Evans.
