Neon To Release Sandra Luckow's "Sharp Edges," The Original Tonya Harding Documentary

Before I, Tonya and "the incident," there was Sharp Edges, the documentary made thirty-two years ago by Yale University student Sandra Luckow as part of her senior thesis, now acquired by NEON and set for a one week theatrical run.

Following its successful awards campaign with I, Tonya, NEON has acquired worldwide rights to the documentary and will distribute it in theaters for one week beginning on July 6th.

Sharp Edges features a 15 year old Tonya Harding going to her first National Figure Skating Championships. The film includes interviews with both Tonya and her now infamous mother, LaVona Golden (played by Academy Award winner Allison Janney in I, Tonya).
