Scenic Seattle: Touring and Photographing The Emerald City Review – The "Must Have" for Every Visitor

Visit Seattle, with their agency of record, PB&, is the first and only destination marketing organization to partner with IFC on a collaboration of this kind.

As part of the Visit Seattle and SundanceTV partnership, a series of short films collectively titled Dear Seattle will be rolling out six films throughout the year from notable filmmakers Dave Grohl, Josh Taft, Megan Griffiths, JJ Augustavo, and one additional filmmaker to be announced.

Brown, an Emmy-nominated visual storyteller, joins the artistic group of Dear Seattle filmmakers after he was awarded with the $25,000 IFC Seattle Story Grant in November 2017. The grant was awarded to a progressive filmmaker who has demonstrated the ability to immerse and transform people through soulful storytelling and who uses that ability to create their own love letter to Seattle.

"We're excited to be a part of this year's Film Independent Spirit Awards for the first-time knowing that entertainment-based content is a rich and powerful way to share the city's story," says Ali Daniels, Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer of Visit Seattle, "the Emerald City is one of the most creative destinations in the world and we are proud to create a great home for filmmakers, artists and artisans to shine. We are honored to have such talented people bring the beauty of Seattle to life in their work."
