Kanye West To Receive Vanguard Award At VMA

Multi-Platinum recording artist Kanye West will be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award at the 2015 MTV Video Music awards. Accepting for the singer will be multi-platinum singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, just kidding.

Kanye West recently teamed with Rihanna and Sir Paul McCartney on the hit FourFiveSeconds. He is a rapper, singer, songwriter record producer and fashion designer. Before launching his solo career West worked as a producer for Roc-A-Fella Records with A list artists such as Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson, Ludacris, and Jay Z.

He is married to Kim Kardashian. The couple have a daughter, North, are expecting their second child.
