Surging Coronavirus Cases Postpones Ivanovo "Pilot" Festival

The third Russian festival of TV series "Pilot," which was supposed to take place in the city of Ivanovo on June 25-27, is postponed due to a difficult situation due to the spread of a new strain in the city of Moscow until the epidemiological situation in the central region of Russia improves.

The organizers of the festival were ready to take all safety measures for the guests of the festival and residents of the city of Ivanovo - daily testing, social distance at the festival sites and all the instructions of Rospotrebnadzor.

Russian Pilot Film Festival Announces Participants

The organizers of the show were forced to take this step-in order to preserve the health of the participants, guests of the festival and residents of the Ivanovo region.

"I think the decision to postpone is absolutely correct. We were all looking forward to this festival with such a rich and strong program and really wanted to meet again and arrange a real holiday for the film industry. But now we need to think first of all about health, so we will postpone our holiday and be sure to hold it when it is definitely safe," stressed the President of the Pilot festival, film director, screenwriter and producer Valery Todorovsky.

The Pilot TV Series Festival was created in 2018 to promote the development of the Russian TV series genre, providing its creators with the opportunity to show their projects to leading industry experts and TV business professionals.
