Wisdom of Happiness Review – His Holiness the Dalai Lama Presents Life Principles

Wisdom of Happiness, from Abramorama, brings to the screen His Holiness the Dalai Lama as he presents life principles including how to manage stress, relationships, the importance of caring for the earth and how each person is responsible.

The documentary, while presented by the Dalai Lama, isn't a religious experience. As he walks viewers through the pressing issues of the day, he counters the toxic environments and overloads that can come through mismanagement of time, and balance, with simple tasks that can be incorporated into our lives.

The Kitchen Brigade Review – Entertaining, Charming, A Sleeper Hit

Wisdom of Happiness offers many life management skills, that are beneficial to all, and even if you are aware of breathing techniques and their benefits, having this reminder presented simply through the wise words of a wise man, who will readily admit his skill is from his life of study.

For those who don't study religion or know anything about Buddhism, or Tibetan history, Wisdom of Happiness also presents the tribulations of the Tibetan people, who have been killed, beaten, tortured and driven from their homes, and the harsh political chasm between the Tibetans and the Chinese government that have resulted in many of the monks having to flee the country out of fear for their lives.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama was one of those who left Tibet and found refugee in India. The documentary incorporates his history as a child, a toddler even, singled out as the next Dalai Lama, and we realize he has lived this life, his entire life, learning, in preparation, study and leadership. So, the wisdom he imparts is more than learned, it is a lifestyle.

The Road Between Us Review – Harrowing True Story of Rescue

He also speaks in voice over on climate change and global warming, and throughout as he offers actionable goals so that each world citizen can be a part of the solution, we see examples, melting ice caps, plastics polluting the oceans.

We also learn his opinions and directives on women in leadership, and we find that he believes that women are more skilled and innately qualified to be leaders, and if societies could be enlightened, and move beyond a prescribed thought, the potential for solving many of the global issues that now border on disasters could be alleviated with female leaders.

Wisdom of Happiness shows us a timeless truth: happiness is still possible, even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. This powerful message of hope is delivered as a personal audience with one of the greatest living thinkers, Nobel Peace Prize winner, Tenzin Gyatso, known to billions around the world as the Dalai Lama.

Mr. Blake at Your Service Review – Excellent, A Delightfully Charming Feel Good Film

Speaking as a member of our single global community, he shares practical wisdom for finding peace, compassion, and hope in the midst of chaos. With disarming clarity and deep humanity, he invites us to imagine — and help create — a world where compassion is activated as our strongest force for change, and happiness is within reach for everyone.

Enlightenment, any techniques, meditations, or life changes that can aid the individual to achieve their goals, hopes, desires, is a positive influence. Happy people are productive people, Wisdom of Happiness, without deep diving into religion, presents a pathway to happiness.

For those who practice Buddhism, the documentary will offer a one-on-one session with the Dalai Lama and will provide a resurgence of self-liberation. For those who practice other religions, the wisdom the Dalai Lama imparts will compliment devotional time and help achieve high mindedness, bringing peace in the midst of life's storms.

Wisdom of Happiness is in theaters October 17, 2025. See it.
