Paris Fashion Week Coverage: Ewa Minge Fall/Winter 2017/18 Couture Collection – Fairy Tales

Inspired by the ancient gypsy fables that transport all into an enchanted, joyful, dancing world, Ewa Minge, Poland’s most celebrated and well known designer, recently showed her Fall/Winter 2017/18 collection during the Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris, France.

The website for Ms. Minge collection and design house evokes a subtle beauty interwoven with mystery and within her self-described magical world is a mixture of passion, timeless design and wide creativity.

Her designs are complete passionate works of artistic expression, timeless and classic designs with sleek lines, silhouettes and rich textures.

Her European influence and expression of the vibrant 1960’s fashion with hip headscarves, comfortable oversize dresses, precariously balancing on liberal and conservative, rich warm colors, complimented by  hints of skin.

Her evening wear collection smolders and is meant to entice with peek-a-boo lace cut-out patterns.

Flowers, embroideries and butterflies appear on many garments they were created by the "students" of the Black Butterflies Foundation, created by the designer is to bring hope and help to the sick and chronically tumor progression through illness to health and / or the fulfillment of a dream, to bear witness to the presence of beauty and power within as part of the art-therapy.

 

Indeed, under the eye of the designer and this for several months, women who fight against cancer have made "small works of art" from pearls. And as they say, these butterflies helped us to pass this difficult time during treatment and transported us to another wonderful world where everything is possible.

 Art helps to keep the disease away; These women will be present in Paris to attend the parade and see their butterflies fly into the great capital.

 In this fashion show, Ewa Minge wants as well to present a model "Plus-Size" because she creates for all women and beauty does not have sizes.
