Former U.S. Representative Anthony Weiner Sentenced in Sextexting Case

Former U.S. Representative Anthony Weiner, from New York, was sentenced to 21 months in prison, in a plea deal, for his role in the sextexting case in which he pled guilty to transferring obscene material to a minor.

Weiner, who was married to Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton's top Aid, used the alias of "Carlos Danger" to engage in sexually explicit texts for more than five years before his texts to a 15 year old girl were reported by London's  Daily with less than six weeks before the Presidential Election in 2016.

The discovery of this incident, prompted federal officials to seize the devices, laptops, handhelds and hard drives, in which the personal emails from the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were found on the computer which also resulted in the email controversy in which then Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton had been exonerated of any wrongdoing to be reopened.

Seattle Mayor Resigns Amidst Sexual Assault Allegations

Weiner, had admitted to engaging in sexually explicit texting that included sending graphic images as far back as 2008, in which the former U.S. Representative. who served New York's 9th District for over a decade, posted a sexually graphic picture of himself on his Twitter feed.

Although he attempted to deny his culpability in the posting, after a few days he admitted to posting the picture and engaging in sexually graphic conversations and sending and receiving graphic images with half a dozen women since 2008.

As Mr. Weiner stated in the courtroom he had a "sickness" that cost him everything. It did. In addition to losing career, he and his wife have since divorced, elected with no less than 60% of the vote in his district in nine separate elections, Weiner has lost all credibility and is now a convicted sex offender and must register wherever he goes for the rest of his life.

Weiner's sexual addiction went unchecked for many years, and the fact that the females were all of consenting age the sex texts and images were an embarrassment to his family, his wife and friends, especially when the brutal New York media and London tabloid mentality took over, however they were between consenting adults.

The underage female also allowed all devices to be seized and if it were part of the presidential strategy then it paid off as any scandal six weeks before the election would be influential driving Candidate Clinton away from her attack and derail strategy into defense mode.

Was the underage female part of the Trump campaign strategy of "All's Fair in Love and War"? It's certainly possibly, Weiner is not the only casualty of Donald Trump's maniacal drive for the Oval Office. Billy Bush, also lost everything, and has recently announced his divorce after losing a $15million NBC contract over sexually graphic words used in an interview in which the President also used the same words to describe his new found celebrity status that enabled him to force himself on women.

Weiner must surrender November 6, 2017 to begin his sentence.
