Donald Trump Wins The Presidency In A Shocking Upset

Donald Trump, the New York Businessman, who saw his campaign implode over the past few weeks, surprised the world with an impressive upset winning 276 electoral votes in a stunning victory over Democratic Challenger Hillary Clinton.

Trump, and Vice-President elect Indiana Governor Mike Pence ran the map on the first female presidential candidate who ended the race of her career winning 218 electoral votes and taking the popular vote.

As of 7:00AM PST the Associated Press has adjusted its voter tally indicating Hillary Clinton has passed the president elect in popular votes with Clinton receiving 59,299,381 votes and Trump 59, 135, 740.  Although, it remains no consolation for the nearly 60 Million Americans who supported her, we the people, have been in this position in the past.

Electoral College votes are the rule of law when determining the presidency and Donald Trump blew his prosperity pixie dust message, blinding the eyes and ears, of those who are hoping to regain their nest egg and are willing to endure four years of buffoonery.

Trump who ran on "Making America Great Again," tapped into the prosperity philosophy, a movement that migrated from the evangelical church and made its way into the secular community and Donald Trump seized the moment.

While Mr. Trump clearly lacked endorsements and a belief in this day, The Klu Klux Klan, the white supremacy, anti-Semitic group and the Las Vegas Review-Journal both endorsed, the intellectual lazy, doomsday, scare tactics, misogynist message. The membership of the KKK remained loyal; the citizens of Nevada voted Hillary.

David Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the KKK, stated “We won it for Donald.” The President-elect also received a congratulatory telegram from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Other major media indicated Donald Trump’s base, essentially the early Andrew Dice Clay's of the world, hate messaging, alienating, uneducated, male dominated, patriarchal ruling class remained loyal to Mr. Trump's message of returning America to a more prosperous season.

People want financial freedom, the recession destroyed the nest egg of countless who squirreled away a retirement or life savings, and the hope that Trump has placed in people is that he can rebuild the lost dollar and the dream. The prosperity philosophy bubble becomes the backbone and back account of every good con artist. Financier Bernie Madoff had the same, smooth, blinding skills.

The clear discrimination and under value of Hillary Clinton isn’t surprising. American remains a man’s world.

Clinton’s Missed Moments

Throughout the election season cautious hope, optimism, and a belief in the skill of the intelligencia to read the tea leaves covered several moments that looking back, not as an armchair quarterback reviewing missed plays, as the process and moments have been included in the weekly Beltway Insider, several red flags coming from the Clinton Campaign.

A confident Hillary believed she could win without a base of voters, totaling 17million, an arrogant Hillary refused Bernie Sanders a spot on the ticket.

The reason, which has been written previously, that she never had that ten-point comfortable lead is directly a result of her treatment and overlooking of Senator Sanders and of course subsequently her choice for Vice-President.

The idea behind the choice of Tim Kaine, was a platform to deliver the south. His lack of appeal and charisma shut the Clinton-Kaine campaign out of the South. Was her race doomed due to an overabundance of experience in political process? Pollsters, previous campaigns, charts, graphs, demographics, statisticians all blinding the eye to the pulse of the people?

If the results of the spoilers are examined (which remains deeply disturbing that some live simply to destroy) in key races, such as Florida, and others, those votes would have put Hillary over the top.

Hillary wanted to win and didn't have the long-term foresight to see without the 17 million votes and sworn devotees to Bernie Sanders she couldn't. Would having Bernie Sanders as a Vice-President been such a challenge?

The Rubber Meets The Road

The crash for all those who believed in Mr. Trump’s prosperity philosophy should roll around by May 2017. People will give him time to make good on his promises and when the backlash begins the mass who voted for the dream will see the bubble burst and hopefully Mom and Pop in middle America didn't bet the farm or else they will be lose again.

We, people who saw beyond the scam, hopefully continue to live in states who don't adopt the trumpeter message.

Trump sold middle America, those who have suffered the worst in the economic recession of 2009, the states who once thrived under manufacturing, who were once the backbone of America, on his dream. A champion story teller, Trump set out blind those who have yet to recover from the great recession.

The Recession of 2009, how the fickle public forgets, was the greatest recession since the great depression a record 8.0% of Americans were unemployed, and stayed unemployed for more than 40 months, with numbers in some area peaking into double digits.

This global economic debacle was the legacy of the last Republican Administration.
