President Biden, this week announced his Bidenomics plan which will grow the American economy and permanently change the direction by recognizing the best way to grow the economy is from the middle out and the bottom up.

The President's job approval rating, according to the website fivethirtyeight.com, for the period ending July 16, 2023 decreased by 0.2% to 40.7% of those polled who approve of his effectiveness as President and those who disapprove of his effectiveness increased by 0.4% to 54.4% of those polled who disapprove of his effectiveness. A slight 3% of the population polled have no opinion. Ratings are calculated weekly.

Bidenomics

The Biden Administration announced this week the introduction of Bidenomics, an economic plan that remains committed to America's middle class and builds an economy not dependent on a college education so to not burden the next generation of Americans with unrealistic burden.

For profit Universities have failed many of their graduates by refusing to help those who invested heavily into the future realize a return on their investment. Employment at the end of a four-year degree should not be an option, it should be a requirement. Universities who fail to provide comparable employment to their students should be held accountable under the law and the student borrower's loans forgiven based on fraud.

Biden Administration Announces Loan Forgiveness

The Department of Education has announced they will begin notifying more than 804,000 borrowers that they have a total of $39 billion in Federal student loans that will be automatically discharged in the coming weeks. In total, the Biden-Harris Administration has approved more than $116.6 billion in student loan forgiveness for more than 3.4 million borrowers.

The forthcoming discharges are a result of fixes implemented by the Biden-Harris Administration to ensure all borrowers have an accurate count of the number of monthly payments that qualify toward forgiveness under income-driven repayment (IDR) plans.

Long Island Gilgo Beach Serial Killer Arrested

Detectives from Suffolk County, New York, arrested New York City architect Rex Heuermann, 59, in connection with a string of unsolved murders dating as far back as 2007, in what has become known as the Gilgo Beach murders.

"Yes, the day has finally come when someone so … depraved of heart who would kill individuals, innocent individuals in the prime of their lives, their young lives, is finally brought to justice," New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said Friday," reported CNN.

The Accused

Rex Heuermann, of Massapequa Park, Long Island, a suburb of New York City, was the one of three suspects the Suffolk County detectives had under surveillance for the murders of sex workers routinely dumped on Long Island's South Shore.

The grisly discovery began in 2010 when the remains of four victims were found in the Gilgo Beach area of Long Island's South Shore. After, as many true crime aficionados understand, a criminal profile was developed to aid law enforcement find the killer.

FBI profilers completed a narrative which indicated the women were "probably killed by a white man in his mid-20s to mid-40s, they said. He is married or has a girlfriend. He is well educated and well spoken. He is financially secure, has a job, owns an expensive car or truck, and lives or used to live near where the bodies were found," reported The New York Times.

The arrest of Rex Heuermann, who at the time the profile was completed was 46, at the prime of his career as a New York City architect, a thriving business with well known and high-profile clients, including Catholic Charities, Cipriani's, and NYC agencies, financially secure, had an expensive truck and lived near where the bodies were found, surprised many who knew him and yet matched the profile with precision. His use of burlap to wrap his victims became the only characteristic that indicated a gap in the sophistication of the killer.

After a shake-up in the Suffolk County Police Department, a renewed effort was made by Suffolk County Police Commission Rodney Harrison who made the Gilgo Beach murders a priority.

Prosecutors used a grand jury to present evidence collected throughout the years, which helped detectives were able to narrow the search. During surveillance of Heuermann, whose offices were on Fifth Avenue in New York City, near the Empire State Building and the main Long Island transportation hub of Penn Station, a discarded pizza slice was retrieved from a trash bin and tested for DNA, which matched the earliest bodies recovered.

"The thing about serial killers — at least the ones that are more prolific — is that they are often extraordinarily ordinary," said James Alan Fox, a professor at Northeastern University who has studied serial killers for more than 40 years," reported The New York Times.

Gruesome Discovery

In December 2010, Suffolk County Missing Person's Bureau Officer John Mallia, who had been searching for Shannon Gilbert, a sex worker who had gone missing in May 2010, after making an emergency phone call that lasted more than 20 minutes indicating someone was trying to kill her. Residents recounted that she had been running from door to door pleading for help. She was never seen again.

Mallia and his cadaver dog were searching the thick, frozen, overgrowth near Ocean Parkway when his dog picked up the scent and a set of human remains were found. Initially believing it was that of Gilbert, the area was immediately searched, and four other victims were found.

The remains found were all petite sex workers, who frequently advertised their services on Craigslist, and met their "johns" at location determined by the customer. In all 11 bodies were found, including a toddler, who was the child of one of the victims, a transgender male and Shannon Gilbert, which detectives, at this time have ruled out Hauermann's involvement.

Hauermann has also been linked through taunting phone calls made to Melissa Barthelemy family members, over a period of six weeks after her disappearance in which he admitted raping and murdering her. His search engine results were particularly disturbing with over 200 Goggle searches of the Long Island Serial Killer, as well as multiple fake email accounts which were used to search for deviant and sadistic sexual behaviors, including depraved pornography depicting snuff films of children and women.

9/11 Defense

"Heuermann is charged with three counts of first-degree murder for the killings of Melissa Barthelemy in 2009, and Megan Waterman and Amber Costello the following year, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney. The alleged killer had been living a double life in a Long Island village a short drive from where their remains were found, prosecutors said," CNN reported.

Heuermann, is represented by attorney Michael Brown and has entered a plea of not guilty. He also told his lawyer he did not commit these murders.

The only defense available, at this point, is a mental snap resulting from witnessing or experiencing the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Michigan's 1931 Co-Habitation Law Abolished

Since 1931 Section 750.335 of the Michigan State Penal Code stated that any man or woman living together who are not married can found guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by prison and a fine, on Thursday, Governor Gretchen Whitmer abolished the outdated law.

"Men and women who "lewdly and lasciviously" associate with each other by cohabiting can no longer be found guilty of a misdemeanor in Michigan under a repeal of a 1931 law signed on Tuesday by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer," reported The Michigan Advance.

Michigan is the last of two states that carried jail time and fines for co-habitation. Mississippi is the last remaining prohibition state.

Manson Cult Killer Released

Leslie Van Houten, a member of the homicidal Charles Manson cult, was released from prison this week after a California Second District Court of Appeal overturned California Governor Gavin Newsom's (D) rejection of her release.

Van Houten, 73, was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole in the 1969 slayings of Leno and Rosemary La Bianca.

While not present at the murders of movie star Sharon Tate, who was eight months pregnant, and her six houseguests, Van Houten, by her own volition agreed when Charles Manson stopped her when she was walking alone on the highway and asked her to go along with them to find someone to murder.

Her lawyer, Nancy Tetreault, who has the ability to convince a small minority of individuals of her client's rehabilitation, explained her elation at the court's decision which stated that Van Houten provided causation factors which contributed to her behavior and other behavior that provided deeper insight into her actions and along with her exemplary behavior as an inmate in the California penal system, even exhibiting remorse for her actions, is sufficient to secure her release.

"Dianne Lake, a member of the Manson Family who was not present for the murder, later said Van Houten claimed, "she had stabbed a woman who was already dead, and that the more she did it the more fun it was," reported The Washington Post.

Without the expectation of judicial intervention most sociopaths, especially those in religious cults, will admit that murder, rape, or torture is fun and releases endorphins much like a runner's high.

Van Houten has been living in transitional housing since her release.

FDA Challenges WHO Aspartame Declaration

The Food and Drug Administration has challenged the World Health Organization findings that Aspartame is a carcinogenic and maintains that the article sweetener, a key ingredient in many low-calorie foods and beverages, is safe.

"The F.D.A. said it "disagrees with I.A.R.C.'s conclusion that these studies support classifying aspartame as a possible carcinogen to humans." The F.D.A. also said that "aspartame being labeled by the W.H.O. as 'possibly carcinogenic to humans' does not mean that aspartame is actually linked to cancer," The New York Times reported.

Aspartame is one of six article sweeteners approved for use in the United States and a key ingredient in Diet Coke, and other non-sweetened beverages and diet sodas and has been approved for decades. The scientific experiments behind the conclusion, which have been published, have a threshold of less than the ten cans of diet soda per day used as a benchmark in animal testing which resulted in heightened level of liver cancers.

Transgender Females Banned from International Cycling Competitions

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) has announced transgender athletes in women's sports will be banned from competition in all international events.

"The UCI, the world governing body for sports cycling, released a lengthy statement updating their policy which will now bar any trans cyclist from competing in women's events if they "transitioned after (male) puberty," Foxnews.com reported.

The UCI has determined that after gathering scientific knowledge cannot guarantee that physical advantage will be eliminated even aided by hormone therapy which is critical in the transition process.
