Premiere Entertainment Nabs Foreign Distribution For “LITTLE ACCIDENTS”

LOS ANGELESApril 29, 2014 – Premiere Entertainment Group is pleased to announce that it has picked up foreign distribution rights for the highly-anticipated dramatic thriller LITTLE ACCIDENTS.  Written and directed by Sara Colangelo, the film stars Elizabeth Banks, Josh Lucas, Boyd Holbrook and Chloe Sevigny.  

 

LITTLE ACCIDENTS debuted at this year’s Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews, and will have its market debut at the Marche du Film in Cannes.  The deal was announced today by Premiere Entertainment CEO Elias Axume.  “Stunning performances enrich this poignant film about tragedy and the burden of secrecy,” said Tony Piantedosi, Director of Development & Acquisitions for Premiere.  “We’re excited to screen it in Cannes, and we are confident the showing there will provoke a passionate response from buyers.”

LITTLE ACCIDENTS tells the story of a small American town still living in the shadow of a coal mine accident. The disappearance of a teenage boy draws together a surviving miner, the lonely wife of a mine executive, and a local boy in a web of secrets. 

Produced by Anne Carey, Jason Michael Berman, Thomas B. Fore and Summer Shelton,  LITTLE ACCIDENTS was executive produced by Chris Columbus, Amy Nauiokas, Eleanor Columbus, Ruth Mutch, Richard Loughran, Kwesi Collisson, Mike Feuer, and Todd Feuer.  Axume negotiated the deal for Premiere Entertainment and WME Global on behalf of the filmmakers.
