Flatland Cavalry Nominated for Group of The Year At ACM Awards

Acclaimed band Flatland Cavalry is nominated for Group of the Year at the 59th Annual ACM Awards, their first ACM nomination culminating a landmarked year for the band who just released their news album "Wandering Star."

The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on Prime Video from Frisco, TX's Ford Center at The Star on Thursday, May 16 at 8:00pm ET.

Country Music Star Cody Jinks Drops New Album

Furthermore, Flatland Cavalry's fan-favorite song, "A Life Where We Work Out," featuring Kaitlin Butts was recently certified RIAA Gold, while their song, "Wool," was featured on The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (Music From & Inspired By), the official soundtrack to the new film in Lionsgate's The Hunger Games saga. Plus, their OurVinyl Session recently debuted, which features stripped down performances of four songs: "Spinnin'," "Don't Have to Do This Like That," "Humble Folks" and "Only Thing At All." 

Known for their electric live shows, the band will continue their extensive headline tour through this summer with stops at Raleigh's The Ritz, Houston's White Oak Music Hall, Chattanooga's The Signal, Kansas City's The Grinder, Wilmington's Greenfield Lake Amphitheater, Asheville's Salvage Station and Seattle's Paramount Theatre among many others. Since their 2015 debut, Flatland Cavalry has released two EPs and three full-length studio albums, including 2021's Welcome to Countryland. Of the record, The Wall Street Journal praised, "a clear musical point of view, original melodies, mature confidence in portraying romantic matters, and increasingly fresh, distinctive lyrics…a straightforward, upbeat electrified country-rock band," while Rolling Stone declared, "Flatland Cavalry are promising to make days a little brighter wherever they go."
