COLSUR Magnetic Wireless Charger, Model: SO2 – Attractive, Compatible with Android & iPhone, Clean Sound

Out of the box the Moodlight Wireless Magnetic Charger Bluetooth Speaker unit is a stand-alone unit, with a USB charger cord. The speaker component of the unit stands 6.5" tall with a circular body that fits in the hand nicely. The control buttons are vertically, on the side of the speaker, in a coordinating color. My unit is pink, so the tabs are pink also.

The magnetic top, which is pictured, has an LED circular nightlight and is touch activated with a short tap. The light adjusts, higher or lower through touch and hold activation. The volume, play and skip songs are triggered through the same touch activation. A built-in bass gong sound, which sounds like the intro beat to "I Can't Stand The Rain," alerts you when the unit is "on" and when maximum volume is reached.

As I am not usually one who reads the manual, a quick glance was all that was necessary to understand the workings of the COLSUR Moodlight Magnetic Wireless Charger, Model: SO2. One of the best features is that the COLSUR Magnetic Wireless Charger is compatible with both iPhone and Android, which translates to a product that will last through cellphone upgrades.

I've used the Bluetooth speaker for 24 hours, with various music genres from rock to classical, and the notes are clean, and crisp. There is no distortion or speaker reverberation when the volume is increased to max. On the downside the phone charging station can only be used with a magnetic case which is not included.

So out of the box, unless you have a phone case with a magnetic charger, your phone can't be charged. Also, while a USB cord is included, but a power charger to plug the USB into before connecting it into a power strip is not included. The unit Is not waterproof and is not to be used near other magnetic devices.

Overall, I highly recommend the COLSUR Moodlight Magnetic Wireless Charger and Bluetooth Speaker.

Trettitre Bluetooth Speaker - Tiny, Hard to Read Operating Buttons

The Trettitre Bluetooth Speaker, from the beginning, was difficult to use. Out of the box, for me, the first turn off was the packaging. The hard plastic casing, like a childproof cap, comes with instructions on how to open the box. Granted, if you follow the directions, it is supposed to fall open. Mine didn't.

It is very small. It looks like a Christmas tree ornament. The triangle shape hanging speaker is 5 inches tall, while the packaging is 7 inches tall, so you get the impression before you open the plastic case that the speaker will be bigger.

The system's operating features are pressed into the plastic bottom, like stamped into rubber, and are difficult to read. It uses touch activation to operate. However, as the operating buttons are the same color as the plastic you need to shine a light on the bottom to see which button is which. The volume, play and skip songs are triggered through the same touch activation. The light in the center works well and provided enough light to fill a small space. The camping light has three strengths and a flashing strobe option. And during testing, the light was bright enough to make it impossible to see the buttons on the bottom.

It connected simply to my device. It is a travel Bluetooth speaker with a small speaker system. While it has clean sound and no distortion, the sound is small which is ideal for small spaces. This can be a plus as the sound doesn't travel or invade the space of others.

While the Trettitre Bluetooth Outdoor Wireless Speakers with Camping Light performs exactly how it is expected to perform, for me it just missed the mark.

Gift Guide: Capresso Brews Up the Ultimate Holiday Magic

Vicsoon Alarm Clock Night Light Bluetooth Speaker - Great Sound, User Friendly, Reasonable Price Point

Out of the box, the Vicsoon Night Light Bluetooth Speaker is a single standalone unit with 6-foot USB cable and full-size user brochure, with graphics, and clear, exact, instructions to enjoy this product. The unit is state-of-the-art, with all the features one would expect, and is user friendly.

Unlike other Bluetooth speakers that use a "beat" to alert you when the unit is activated or reached maximum sound levels, this unit has a voice operated alert, like GPS, and the voice on the speaker verbally explains, "Bluetooth Connected," as well as other necessary information. Which, for some reason, appealed to me. It doesn't leave you guessing.

I like everything about this unit from the look, the plate of operating activation buttons are clear with common, friendly directional symbols engraved on the buttons in the standard universal representations, (again no guessing), to the voice activated directions, and the lighting options. It also allows for hands-free calling. The unit has an LED digital clock, with a "real" alarm clock and snooze setting. Even the brochure is user friendly.

The Bluetooth connects easily to my device and the sound is clear, without distortion from rock, to country, to classical. The woofer and bass technology produces a big sound. It can be used on both Android & iPhone.

The color adjustment is touch activated by touching the top of the speaker and a gentle touch changes the colors. The casing of the speaker runs through a series of colors. The unit has solid colors, warm light, which has a strobe effect and moves to the beat of the music, from rock to classical.

I really like this unit; I wholeheartedly recommend the Night Light Bluetooth Speaker. Even as it is billed for teen girls, the features including voice directions, compatibility with Android & iPhone, LED digital clock and alarm, this unit is extremely user friendly and made for everyone.
