Echo Launches Global IronWire Indiegogo Campaign

The innovative London based portable technology brand, Echo is bringing an end to poor, overpriced phone charging cables with the IronWire MFi certified lightening cable via a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.

The IronWire promises to be the strongest and most cost effective cable on the market. It is tangle-free, extra-long and comes with a LIFETIME* warranty to match. They even added some fancy LED lights to let you know when your device is fully charged.

So just how tough is this cable? Echo claims the IronWire is one of the strongest out there, and they’ve made a video to prove it. Watch this video clip of the Echo team towing a mini with the IronWire cable. They promise to test the cable to its limits with some more stunts before the 60-day campaign is up.

Another persistent pain point with cables is how easily they tangle and how difficult they are to store. Fortunately the sturdy, braided design of the IronWire makes it completely tangle-proof.

Matt had this to say about the campaign: “I broke two cables in six months so looked around to buy something stronger. I was really surprised to find the certified ones cost more than twice the price of a standard lead. So in response I created the IronWire, making it the strongest we possibly could for the smallest price tag. We’re so confident this is one of the strongest cables you can buy that it even comes with a lifetime warranty.”

About Echo Founded in 2014, the Echo team is young and passionate, and dedicated to creating the highest quality electronic devices that keep you connected in the modern world. Echo aims to make tech work better, and compliment your lifestyle rather than provide eternal frustration.

They have completed two successful campaigns on Indiegogo so far, and have brought a couple of world-firsts to the market, including the first ever MFi certified charge key that can also charge a competitor device.

The IronWire cable is Echo’s most ambitious campaign yet, with the campaign only running for 60 days and needing a minimum of 10,000 unit sales to reach their target.
