Ariana Grande Announces One Love Manchester Benefit Concert; Sells Out in Six Minutes

Ariana Grande, in the days since the Manchester Bombing, has shown the world the strength of her character and commitment to her fans and in defiance to hate and evil has chosen to return to Manchester for a benefit concert.

Not only is the petite beauty returning to the city that has suffered unimaginable pain over the course of the last week, she is enlisting the world’s biggest names to join her in standing United Against Hate for what is being called the “One Love Manchester Concert."

The bill for the upcoming One Love Manchester Concert has continued to grow with a recent commitment from the Black-Eyed Peas, the latest act to join the mega roster that includes Grande, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell, Usher, Take That, and Niall Horan.

Rumors circulating also have Oasis reuniting for this one show that will be seen by millions and broadcast around the world.

The entertainment roster is expected to grow as the One Love Manchester Concert is becoming more than a benefit signaling to those who inflict this evil the world stands united against them.

On May 22, a marginal Islamic State fighter, Salman Abedi, was called into duty and detonated a nail and bolt laced explosive in the foyer of the Manchester Arena, killing 22 and injuring 120. Many parents had gathered in the cross way to meet up with their children who had attended the show and where families were exiting to the Victoria Station subway that runs underneath the venue.

Ms. Grande joined the mourner and twitted her heart was “broken” and cancelled her Dangerous Women European Tour until June 7. She and promoter Scooter Braun conceived the idea of the benefit concert over the course of the next nine days.

Grande and Braun were joined by two of the United Kingdom’s biggest promoters, Live Nation Subsidiary Festival Republic, and Simon Moran’s SJM Concerts, and the One Love Manchester Concert was born.

The concert, free to any person who attended the May 22 show, will raise money to support the victims, their families of the bombing.

Some of the 22 dead are now orphans as both parents were killed, other children lost one parent and many of the injured are facing lengthy rehabilitation.

The concert will be held June 4, at the Cricket Stadium at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester.

General Admission Tickets go on sale Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 10:00am BST on this site.
