Bites with Chia Review - Chosen Foods Masters the Snack Market

Bites with Chia, a healthy alternative to the snack pack, fell into my radar by way of a gift package from Chosen Foods introducing their newest treat, Avocado Oil Mayonnaise, and so deciding to give them the taste test proceeded.

Chia Bites are just that. Bite sized squares loaded with healthy nutrients, like organic Chia Seeds, pecan nuts, organic sesame seeds, almonds, Non GMO corn malto-dextrin cane sugar, agave inulin, natural mango flavor and for the vanilla organic peanuts, maltodextrin and natural vanilla flavors.

They are delicious. With a calorie count of most snack pack bags at 155 and total carbohydrates at 12g, they have just enough to hold over the appetite. They come in two delicious flavors Mango and Vanilla. They are available in finer whole foods or organic store and can be ordered online.

Avocado Mayonnaise, at anytime a treat.

Avocado Mayonnaise is the newest addition to the Chosen Food Family. Easier to let the experts explain the reason for Avocado Based Oil Mayonnaise, below are excerpts from the website where all products are featured and nearly 30 pages of delicious organic and healthy kitchen tested recipes.

From twists on traditional like Pepperoni Pizza Quinoa Bites, Crispy Gluten Free Egg Rolls with Spicy Sesame Sauce and Sticky Salmon with Sesame Chili Sauce, to a delicious fresh salad dressing like Raspberry Balsamic Vinaigrette and icy treats like Raspberry Quinoa Chia Balls kitchen tested recipes are featured helping incorporate the healthy beginnings to any family.

Real Clean Ingredients, Real Mayo Flavor

Have you ever grabbed a jar of olive oil mayo only to read the ingredients and find olive oil is the 4th or 5th ingredient? Ya, we aren’t too into that either.

Chosen Foods avocado oil mayo is made with our pure avocado oil instead of genetically modified oils like soy & corn. Our avocado oil mayo is high in Omega 9, the heart healthy (cardio protective) fat that is also found in olives and olive oil.

Our eggs come from happy, cage free Nest-Fresh chickens. We distill our vinegar from non-gmo beets, and use rosemary extract as a natural antioxidant to preserve freshness. A touch of organic honey to balance out the vinegar and create a mayo that tastes just like your favorite, perfectly creamy and delicious.

Is Chosen Foods Mayo vegan?

No, our mayo is not vegan. We do source our eggs from free range & organic chickens, who are treated to the highest standard. To learn more about our eggs and what makes them so special, visit NestFresh.com

Why use avocado oil for mayo?

Most mayonnaise use genetically modified and chemically extracted seed oils like soy, corn, and canola. Not only is our avocado oil NON-GMO, it is a healthy choice with Omega 9 and polyunsaturated fats.
