Innovative Charger from Detached, JuiceTank, for IPhone 4/4S

Innovative iPhone accessory company Detached recently unveiled their inaugural product, the JuiceTank case for iPhone 4/4S, on the crowd-funding site Kickstarter. The first product of its kind, the slim case has an integrated charger that allows users to plug their phones directly into the wall.

IFrom your pocket to the socket, the lightweight JuiceTank is the ideal cordless charging solution. The unique case features an automated plug that deploys quickly and easily when your phone needs more juice.  The plug then folds completely flat to provide maximum comfort and portability, whether you carry your phone in your pocket, purse, or luggage.

Available in a smooth jet black, JuiceTank delivers more than just efficient style and function.  The durable case is made from polycarbonate, the same material used in bulletproof glass, to provide the protection the Apple iPhone deserves. The tough but sleek outside protects phones from wear and tear, while the soft inside keeps it looking good as new. 

“I had a bad habit of leaving my charger at home and getting stuck with a dead cellphone,” explains Detached founder Jesse Pliner. “The JuiceTank is the perfect answer to this common problem, remarkable in its simplicity.  When your case is your charger, you have everything you need to keep your iPhone looking great and fully charged at all times.”

The patent pending JuiceTank is expected to retail for $70, but is currently available for $55 for early adopters who contribute to the Kickstarter campaign.  Kickstarter is a collective fundraising site that allows everyday consumers to support products they want to see come to market. Funds raised for JuiceTank will contribute to the tooling and production necessary to bring JuiceTank to customers as soon as Summer 2012.
