Located in Sylmar, California, the 300,000 sq. foot space epitomizes the essence of boutique service within the sprawling entertainment landscape.

Built within the coveted thirty-mile-zone, Sylmar Studios features six sound stages with catwalks and perms to support world-class productions. The facility also includes its own onsite Set Lighting and Grip department, which opened its rental services earlier this year, providing the most technologically advanced equipment along with legacy favorites for such shows and studios as: Bosch, High Potential, Lincoln Lawyer, Master Chef, 911, Not Dead Yet, Ted, This Fool Unpoisoned and NBC/Universal amongst others.
One of the most high-tech properties of its kind, Sylmar Studios has partnered with Spectrum Entertainment Enterprise Division to provide state-of-the-art technologies with exclusive IDF rooms, a robust high-speed network, and a central plant/chiller system. The facility features 100,000 sq. feet of premium office space with stage adjacent production support including make-up, hair, green rooms, and dressing rooms, concierge support staff, 600 secured covered parking spaces, event space and more.

Sylmar Studios is led by President and General Manager, Patrick Dempsey. In addition to his 20 years of physical production experience, Patrick brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from his previous endeavors at The Culver Studios, Wanda Studios-Qingdao, 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures Entertainment, DreamWorks SKG, and more. The Sylmar Studios team overseeing facilities, client services, studio solutions, set lighting and grip, and administration has over 200 years of combined experience in the entertainment business, leveraging their knowledge from top names across the industry.
Committed to both environmental stewardship and community engagement, Sylmar Studios is redefining industry standards with memberships in esteemed bodies such as California Film Commission and Film LA. Additionally, Sylmar Studios is the first independent-for-rent production facility that will receive The Trusted Partner Network (TPN) certification. It will also operate as a "Green Studio" which will include an Zero Waste Initiative that will divert all waste from the landfill. Additionally, the facility was built in an Opportunity Zone - a geographic area in the U.S. designated to encourage economic growth and job creation in low-income communities.
