The President's job approval rating, according to the website fivethirtyeight.com, which tracked polls of likely or registered voters for the period ending June 21, 2020, increased by 0.3 percentage points to 41.4% of those polled who approve of his effectiveness as President and those who disapprove of his effectiveness increased by 0.6 percentage points to 55.2%. Election 2020, according to the website fivethirtyeight.com, which tracks the latest Presidential Poll averages have President Donald Trump trailing Democratic challenger Joe Biden by 8.9% percentage points. With 41.5% of the sample audience indicating they will be casting their vote for Trump, and 50.4% of the voters sampled indicate they will be casting their vote for Biden.

Trump Hits the Campaign Trail

President Trump hit the campaign trail this week and expected his base supporters, which cross multiple demographic lines, to ignore the global coronavirus pandemic and risk exposure and the possibility of death to express support at a rally.

Totals for his Tulsa rally have been reported across multiple media outlets at a meager 6200, and a far cry from the packed stadiums of the 2016 presidential campaign.

Pundits, soothsayers, tea leaf readers and even the president see a direct correlation between the meager crowd and the November election, without factoring into the equation the common sense of the voter who made a health choice as opposed to risking the possibility of exposure in a dense crowd.

The President's key to reelection is not the supersized patriotic flag-waving crowds, the key to re-election is the pushback of recent movements which many believe infringe on the rights of those who feel their rights to celebrate a history has been infringed upon and is nearly extinct.

Police Accountability, which has become a pressure cooker with explosions around the nation, has continued to diversify as many have seen their efforts move major corporation into adopting new policies which end broad use of images many deem as racist.

Omnist and Syncretism Beliefs

The Omnist belief, which was once central to only religion has now modified to incorporate a belief that all races are one race, the human race, that all peoples are one people, concerned only with the human condition, which has morphed even further to syncretism which involves "the merging or assimilation of several originally discrete traditions. Syncretism also occurs commonly in expressions of arts and culture (known as eclecticism) as well as politics (syncretic politics)," according to Wikipedia.

The diverse melting pot of Americans, from all races, religions, and ethnicities, each want to keep, maintain, and demand their traditions and beliefs, which are singularly important to remembering history, are recognized.

Trump Signs Executive Order on Police Reform

The widespread protest and international demonstrations resulting from the murder of George Floyd, the African American man killed by a nineteen year veteran of the Minneapolis Police department, has resulted in highlighting police accountability and brutality within multiple departments.

Addressing those issues, President Trump signed an executive order geared toward encouraging but not mandating changes in polices.

"The order amounted to Trump's most concrete action to date after he faced criticism for failing to address underlying causes of racial inequality and police brutality.  The measure prioritizes federal funding for police departments that embrace de-escalation tactics, including a ban on chokeholds outside of instances where an officer's life is in danger, and improves the government's ability to track officers with a history of excessive force complaints," The Hill reported.

No Knock Warrants Outlawed

Breanna Taylor, 26, an African American female and member of the Louisville EMT squad, was killed in March when a Louisville Metro police strike team, kicked down the door of her apartment aided by a no knock warrant entered her home and opened fire.

Taylor who had been an exemplary employee, had been named in a signed warrant, which indicated she had allowed known drug distributors to have packages delivered to her home. No drugs where found in the residence.

The No knock warrant startled the two, who were licensed to carry, and believing their house was being broken into fired upon the officers. They officer engaged Ms. Taylor and her boyfriend Kenneth Walker, in a gun battle. She was shot eight times.

"According to The Louisville Courier Journal, the police had been investigating two men who they believed were selling drugs out of a house that was far from Ms. Taylor's home. But a judge had also signed a warrant allowing the police to search Ms. Taylor's residence because the police said they believed that one of the two men had used her apartment to receive packages. The judge's order was a so-called no-knock warrant, which allowed the police to enter without warning or without identifying themselves as law enforcement," The New York Times reported.

Brett Haskinson, one of the three officers involved in the shooting, has been notified of the Police Chiefs intent to terminate his employment.

Anarchy Rules in Seattle Automatous Zone

The are in Seattle, Washington, known as the Automatous Zone and renamed the Capital Hill Organized Protest area, which grew out of the national demonstrations over the death of George Floyd, has become infused with anarchist, and career criminal, separatists and others who are determined to create a lawless society.

"Protesters laid claim to several city blocks and put up a banner on the front entrance of the emptied police station reading, "This space is now property of the Seattle people." The zone, with the atmosphere of a street festival or commune frequented by families during daytime hours, drew the ire of President Trump, who called on Twitter for officials to crack down on protesters and declared that "Domestic Terrorists have taken over Seattle," The New York Times reported.

The movement, reminiscent of the 2011 Occupy Movement which spawned similar protests in major cities across the nation, has become more violent, with citizen law becoming the rule, protests leading to looting and vandalism.

A No Man's Land, the Automatous Zone leaders refuse to allow emergency services within its borders.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said, when asked if the president was an anti-fascist, "The President is absolutely anti-fascist.  What he's against also is lawlessness.  He's against anarchy.  He's against what we've seen in our streets.  He's against the fact that you have, in a city block in Seattle — multiple city blocks taken over by anarchists.  It's amazing.  You have the Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best saying, quote, "Our 911 response times have tripled in the area.  They've gone from just over five minutes to about 18 minutes.  There have been rapes, robberies, and all sorts of violent acts that have been occurring. He's against fascism, he's against anarchism, and he is for rule of law and the American way."

Seattle may be the most visible city which has become the target of anarchy, and the fact remains that subversive groups are working in many major cities including New York and Los Angeles to create an system which allows specific individuals who pay for the information, through donations or proof of loyalty, and in turn are given the tools and techniques which allow them to subvert the criminal justice system.

Infections rates in the United States are also on the rise. Juneteenth Statement

President Trump issued a statement which addressed the commemoration of the emancipation proclamation known as Juneteenth. The entire statement can be viewed here.

"Juneteenth reminds us of both the unimaginable injustice of slavery and the incomparable joy that must have attended emancipation.  It is both a remembrance of a blight on our history and a celebration of our Nation's unsurpassed ability to triumph over darkness. This Juneteenth, we commit, as one Nation, to live true to our highest ideals and to build always toward a freer, stronger country that values the dignity and boundless potential of all Americans," President Trump said in a statement.

Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Gay and lesbian Protections

The Supreme Court issued a surprise victory for the LGBTQ community this week, interpreting the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include protections for discrimination based on sex.

"The ruling was 6-3, with Justice Neil Gorsuch, President Trump's first appointee to the court, writing the majority opinion. The opinion was joined by Chief Justice John Roberts and the court's four liberal justices," NPR reported.

As in all confronting issues facing society today, both Presidential candidates weighed in on the decision, with the democratic challenger Biden stating, " Today, by affirming that sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination are prohibited under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Supreme Court has confirmed the simple but profoundly American idea that every human being should be treated with respect and dignity."

Libyan In Custody in UK Terror Attack

Three people have been stabbed to death, and three others injured, in what UK officials have called an isolated terror attack in Forbury Gardens in Redding, UK, located about 40miles from London.

Authorities have concluded a Libyan national was behind the knife attack. Witnesses indicated the man began screaming and pulled out a "massive" knife and began randomly stabbing individual's who were enjoying the park.

"Detectives working closely with the security services, continue to make enquiries to ensure that there were no others involved and our investigative priority remains to ensure that there is no related outstanding threat to the public. Although the motivation for this heinous act is far from certain, Counter Terrorism Policing South East has taken on responsibility for leading this investigation. However we are clear that it was not associated at all with the Black Lives Matter protest, which was taking place peacefully earlier in the day, and which had concluded some hours before this attack took place," Assistant Commissioner Specialist Operations Neil Basusaid in a statement.

Election: Evolution and Deconstruction

Over the next five months Americans will once again be subject to a mudslinging, mud-wrestling, take down as the November election draws closer. Each of the candidates are determined to win the trust of the voters and each will press the message of setting this nation on the right course.

The previous six months have seen an unprecedented time of uncertainty, unavoidable polar swings in economic security which plunged this nation into a recession, more over the frustration of injustice, boiled over into the streets of major cities and small towns, into the streets of nations around the world as global citizens from all walks of life said enough and demanded accountability.

Erasing history, wiping the chalkboard free from stains of history, of injustice, of wrongs, or perceived wrongs doesn't not negate the facts of its existent.

Op/Ed: Police Accountability and Justice – Two Causes Worth the Fight

We have allowed American history to be absorbed and destroyed and worse created an association that hold true to the facts of a tumultuous past and those same beliefs that are anti-cultural, or against the wave of current public opinion, labels a person a racist or paints them in such a way that they become victimized and face discrimination by those who subscribe to the court of public opinion.

If this wave of public law is not stopped, the next demand will be to develop a brown shirt police force and burn books, force Universities to cease teaching American Literature which depict as a lifestyle, the gross and egregious infringements of a people. Without the documentation of those times we would not evolve as a society.

Our boundaries as a society have already tightened around the issues of slavery, with even artistic expression facing oppression and bowing to the court of popular opinion and pulling expressions across all mediums. This does not represent growth, an evolution, this represents deconstruction of society, as we have moved from discussion and debate to intolerance of history. History is not kind to many, but necessary to all.

The pushback of this widespread and vocal demonstration will play out in the November election, whether the big crowds appear for either candidate, as many will not risk death now, to be present in November.
