Pourtal Wine Tasting Bar: A Wine Lover's Paradise

Pourtal Wine Tasting Bar, located on Santa Monica Blvd just east of Ocean Drive in Santa Monica, recently hosted an evening of introduction at a private wine tasting event.

Pourtal Wine Tasting Bar, an innovative concept by owner Steven Abronson, allows individuals to participate in a wine tasting atmosphere at each visit.

Hand of God Wines Review – A Delicious Rapture of Flavor

Pourtal Wine Tasting Bar offers a variety of wine by the taste and wine by the glass options. Wine by the taste is dispensed from the Enomatic machines, a high-tech automated wine serving system, which dispenses a pre-measured “tasting” sample.

When visiting Pourtal Wine Tasting Bar, consumers are given a pre-filled credit card loaded with the denomination of their choice. With the variety of wines to choose one makes a selection from Whites, Rosé or Reds. After the choice, the one ounce per serving cost, which is located above the nozzle, is deducted from the card through a computerized chip similar to any pre-loaded card.

Rachel Bryan, Wine Director at Pourtal Wine Tasting Bar, has the distinct palate honed in both New York City and as Assistant Wine Director at the famed WILSHIRE in Los Angeles. When purchasing wines for POURTAL she chooses both new and old world that are natural, organic, biodynamic or sustainable.
