Stript Wax Bar - Stripping the Competition Bare

Katherine Goldman and Eric Schimmel are the owners of Stript Wax Bar, the sexy new boudoir dedicated to the art of waxing, located on trendy W. 3rd street in West Hollywood, California.

This dynamic duo have, in a little under three years created a rapidly growing waxing empire that's taken California by Storm.

Goldman, a licensed aesthetician, founded her business when she rented a small room at the back of a hair salon but soon became overwhelmed with demand. Her clientele began spreading the word far and wide that she had a special touch with waxing and was a particulary expert practitioner of the increasingly popular Brazilian Bikini.  Soon, along with her very supportive husband, she was so busy that the two decided to open their own store on Union Street and a franchise was born.

It wasn't long before Stript was booked solid in San Francisco and she began to hear from clients that her services were needed in their home towns. Over the next year they opened a store in palo Alto and Walnut Creek until Stipt Wax bar locations were strategically loacted throughout the Bay area. Then they set their eyes on Los Angeles.

Soon they were shopping for locations and decided on West LA.  “We had,” she stated, “the chance to create the flagship store that we had always dreamed of.” They worked from a gutted space really had the opportunity, for the first time to take a space and turn in to their dream location. The renovated from a raw space and turned into a boudoir style location with privacy, a VIP area, complimentary wine, and created inviting décor with multiple service booths and a very comfortable space.

Stript has recently trademarked their own  specially formulated brand of soaps that include an all over men’s body wash products as much for men as they are for women. She explained, “Did you ever just jump into your guy’s shower and grab the soap and its dry and usually not made for females?” She decided they wanted to address that need and make a complete line of men’s personal grooming products that met the same needs for the guys and are absence of the harshness that women usually find in men’s all over body washes. Hence the Bro Bar.

When attempting to ask what services are most requested, Goldman jumped in with a pleasant, friendly manner and was quick to indicate that “Brazilians and brows” she laughed “are the two most requested services.”  It was a good thing she offered the information as it felt almost intrusive to ask.

Stript Wax Bar offers a variety of services from the standard to the unusual, like the Vajacial, which as Ms. Goldman indicated is pre and post treatment for complete Brazilians waxing. (It was difficult not to resort to down there and hushed tones).

Katherine Goldman is friendly, upfront and will make even the most hesitant feel right at home and in safe hands with the special touch!

Stript Wax Bar is stripping away the competition at its Los Angeles Flagship location. It has become the go to for celeb hot-spot for personal grooming services.  The Bro Bar and Stript Wax Bar’s entire line of men’s soaps, their proprietary line of Prissy mineral make-up, and an amzing selection of other fine beauty and skin care products can be found there and at any of their locations!
