Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl from Aardman Animations and Netflix, held its premiere at the recent AFI film Festival, reintroduces the sinister Feathers McGraw behind bars thanks to the zany inventor Wallace and his faithful companion Gromit.
The film begins with a voice over recap of the notorious Feathers McGraw, outwitted by Wallace, voiced by Ben Whitehead, and his trusty companion, Gromit, in his attempt to steal the famous blue diamond. Now in prison, Feathers is biding his time, intent on his great escape and returning to the scene of the crime for vengeance.
The Program Review – Fascinating, Intriguing, Stunning
Meanwhile back at the home of Wallace, our loveable and zany inventor, and his faithful companion Gromit, are starting another day of adventure. Today, Wallace announces he has an invention, a smart Gnome, a robotic garden wiz who can complete all the chores in record time. Wallace's smart Gnome is such the rage, that the local TV news interview him. Suddenly everyone in the neighborhood wants the Smart Gnome robot to work for them also.
Another person who sees the interview is the notorious Feathers McGraw who, besides running the prison, from his cell has been collecting bits and pieces to help in his escape. Keeping his mind on the bigger picture, Feathers is not about to let these bars hold him back.

Suddenly, Wallace finally has an invention that works, he is the hit of the neighborhood, celebrated, and with a dozen more Gnomes he can expand his business. He loves his Gnomes. However, we find that Gromit, who is a little savvier than Wallace, is not happy with the robot, especially when it is time to recharge him. So, he unplugs the noisy Gnome, takes him to the basement and plugs him into the computer to charge.
Finally, Feathers McGraw has access to WiFi and he hacks into Wallace's computer, and into the charging Gnome and reprograms him to evil. What follows is one disaster after another, as feathers McGraw uses the Gnomes to spring him from his prison cell and destroy Wallace and Gromit leading to a climatic train chase.
The Order Review – Five Stars, A Must See, Electrifying
Having the opportunity to attend the premiere screening Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, with an audience of loyal fans who knew the characters and were caught up in each moment, bursting into applause as our hero's win the day elevated the experience, especially for a newbie to Wallace & Gromit's world. The animation is impressive. As I have some knowledge of the scale of the work, and painstaking process that goes into creating each scene, from creating mold figures, and then creating each expression used, the amount of work is staggering and the finished film is stunning.
An entertaining and fun escapade, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl debuts on Netflix in January 2025.
