Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett, Noah Jupe Join "The Death Of Robin Hood"

Lyrical Media and Ryder Picture Company (RPC) announced that Bill Skarsgård (Nosferatu), Emmy® winner Murray Bartlett and Noah Jupe have joined the cast of "The Death of Robin Hood" from writer/director Michael Sarnoski (Pig, A Quiet Place: Day One).
Lyrical Media is fully financing the film. Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett will produce under their Ryder Picture Company banner alongside Alexander Black for Lyrical Media and Hugh Jackman. Lyrical's Jon Rosenberg and Natalie Sellers will executive produce with Rama Gottumukkala and Michael Sarnoski. A24 will be distributing the film in the U.S. after acquiring the film in Cannes while True Brit Entertainment will be releasing the film in the UK and Ireland. WME Independent reps the foreign rights to the film.

Grappling with his past after a life of crime and murder, a battle worn loner finds himself gravely injured and in the hands of a mysterious woman, who offers him a chance at salvation. These are the last days of the outlaw Robin Hood. Principal photography begins this week in Ireland.
Skarsgård, Bartlett, and Jupe join previously announced cast members Academy Award®-nominee Hugh Jackman (Les Misérables, X-Men franchise) and Emmy® Award-winner Jodie Comer ("Killing Eve," The Bikeriders).
Skarsgård is an actor and producer known for his versatile performances in film and television. He starred as Count Orlok in Nosferatu, one of the highest-grossing horror movies of 2024. Skarsgård first captured global attention with his portrayal of Pennywise the Clown in It and It Chapter Two, based on Stephen King's iconic horror novel. Beyond horror, Skarsgård has demonstrated his dramatic range in projects like Netflix's psychological thriller series Hemlock Grove and the critically acclaimed series Castle Rock. His film credits also include Atomic Blonde, The Devil All the Time, and Barbarian.

Bartlett is an Emmy® Award-winning actor recognized for his performance as Armond in HBO's acclaimed satirical comedy "The White Lotus." His other notable credits include the Emmy® Award-winning "The Last of Us" and "Welcome to Chippendales". His upcoming film credits include A24's "Opus" and "At The Sea", opposite Amy Adams.
Jupe is a burgeoning British actor with an impressive filmography. He gained recognition for his roles in the acclaimed television series "The Night Manager," George Clooney's dark comedy Suburbicon, and the heartwarming drama Wonder. Jupe's talent truly shone through in the horror film A Quiet Place and its sequel A Quiet Place Part II. His compelling performance in Honey Boy earned him a well-deserved Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Male. Jupe continued to impress audiences with his role in the critically praised sports drama Ford v Ferrari and the suspenseful miniseries "The Undoing."
Lyrical Media and RPC have a first-look deal that includes Adam Wingard's Onslaught, starring Adria Arjona and Dan Stevens which is currently in post production with A24. The companies are also developing a slate of projects, including Funny Story, an adaptation of Emily Henry's bestselling romantic comedy, and Butcher & Blackbird, based on Brynne Weaver's popular novel.
Skarsgård is represented by WME, Agentfirman and Magnolia Entertainment. Bartlett is represented by WME and Anonymous Content. Jupe is represented by WME and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
