Following the announcement of the cancellation of the 27th Annual American French Film Festival (TAFFF), the FACF along with the festival organizers are announcing the full lineup of films and series that had been selected for the 2023 event.

"Like every year, the 2023 program reflects the diversity and quality of French productions, while welcoming both established filmmakers and newcomers," said Francois Truffart, Executive Producer and Artistic Director of TAFFF.  "More than 150 writers, directors, composers, talent, producers, distributors, digital platforms, and international sales companies were associated with the selection this year. We want to thank all of them for their amazing support. We are dedicated to supporting the promotion of French films and series all year long and look forward to resuming our physical event in 2024."

The film based on Alexandre Dumas' work was chosen to open TAFFF and also to be presented to 3000 American high school students during the Festival, an annual educational program supported by ELMA.

"A total of 21 feature films, four documentaries, nine series, four TV movies and 17 short films are part of the selection. Thirty-five of them would have been presented as US, North American, and World Premieres," adds Truffart.
