NEON Sets Awards Season Release Date for Chinonye Chukwu's CLEMENCY starring Alfre Woodard

NEON, which acquired Chinonye Chukwu’s Clemency following its World Premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, will be releasing the prison warden drama on December 27, 2019, positioning the title as a prime awards season contender.

The film stars Academy Award® Nominee Alfre Woodard and has garnered rave reviews, receiving the Sundance Grand Jury Prize and tremendous praise for Woodard’s performance. Clemency, which critics lauded as “powerful” and “profound”, is already garnering early Oscar buzz for Alfre Woodard and Aldis Hodge’s emotional performances.
