Fandango Teams with Paramount Pictures And Participant Media To Host Exclusive Advance Screening Of “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power”

Fandango is teaming up with Paramount Pictures and Participant Media to host an exclusive advance screening of "An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power," the much-anticipated follow-up to two-time Academy Award-winning documentary "An Inconvenient Truth," at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on May 6.

Attendees will be treated with a live, introduction and Q&A about the film, conducted by actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, with former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, narrator and star of the film. The film debuts in theaters nationwide on July 28.

"I look forward to giving Angelenos an advanced look at our new film 'An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power,' and the progress we've made over the past decade to solve the climate crisis," said former Vice President Al Gore. "But our work is only getting started, and I hope the film will inspire people of all ages to join the movement and encourage their families, friends and communities to speak truth to power, help us transition to clean, renewable energy and protect our environment."

The special screening is open to the public and free to attend.  Interested parties will need to sign up for tickets online at Fandango or the Greek Theatre box office.  Tickets will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis, while supplies last.

At the event, a limited edition movie themed poster, designed by Studio Number One founded by Shepard Fairey, will be paired with a Fandango movie ticket voucher, and available for purchase.  The special bundle will give attendees the opportunity to "pay it forward," by gifting friends and family a ticket to see the film upon release.

"We are thrilled to offer 'Inconvenient Truth' fans the opportunity to see the long-awaited sequel two months before the film hits theaters, in the unique setting of the Greek Theatre," said Adam Rockmore, SVP, Head of Marketing & Communications at Fandango. "Our guests will also get the special honor of experiencing a live introduction and Q&A session with former Vice President, Al Gore, hosted by Joseph Gordon-Levitt."

Fans can also purchase a 100 percent organic "#BeInconvenient" t-shirt with a Fandango ticket voucher on Fandango FanShop, the company's new movie merchandise marketplace.  Here fans can be among the first to secure tickets to this important film along with the exclusive statement-making t-shirt.  After signing up for a Fandango Fan Alert, fans will be notified immediately when tickets officially go on sale, so they can redeem their voucher and confirm their seat.

Fans who buy "Inconvenient Sequel" tickets on Fandango will also get the opportunity to purchase the first film, "An Inconvenient Truth" on Digital HD, at a discounted price on video on-demand service FandangoNOW.
