Miss Piggy Serves as Official Fire Girl at DKNY Madison Avenue’s Fashion’s Night Out Event in Honor of the FDNY 2013 Calendar of Heroes

Disney's mega diva Miss Piggy, dressed in head-to-hoof DKNY, was on hand to celebrate the official FDNY 2013 Calendar of Heroes at a pre-Fashion's Night Out event at the DKNY Madison Avenue boutique in New York City.

As the official fire girl for the evening, Miss Piggy joined fashion legend Donna Karan, New York City photographer Patrick McMullan who shot the annual calendar, and the 13 FDNY firefighters featured in this year's calendar. All proceeds from the sale of the calendar as well as a portion of the evening's sales go to the FDNY Foundation, which was established to promote fire safety for residents of New York City and to provide professional development, training and education for FDNY members.

DKNY and the FDNY rolled out the fire-engine red carpet tonight for moi and for a fabulous cause. What a tres fantastique evening in the company of one of moi's favorite designers, New York City's hottest heroes, and a photographer whose next job will surely be a fashion spread for moi!" said Miss Piggy.

Fashion's Night Out is a global initiative to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry's economy during the recession, and put the fun back in shopping! In the United States, the program is a collaboration between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York.
