Lebanese designer Ziad Nakad showcased his Spring/Summer 2021 Couture Collection, The Birds of Paradise, at the Château de Vaux-Le-Vicomte inspired by the past year’s restrictions, he designed a collection filled with desire to be free.
The Birds of Paradise Collection presented majestic, transparent, and airy formal dresses. Bruised by recent events, longing for escape, for dreams, for travel, Ziad wanted this collection sexy, slightly frivolous, in order to regain the carefree life of yesterday.

The collection’s wedding dress required three months to create a welcome three month of escape to absorb in the beauty of the creation.
All pieces are entirely hand-embroidered in the designer's atelier. The lockdown provided time, and nothing but time to create with keen attention to each garment. From the bead work to the ostrich feathers mingling with silk, lace, organza, and chiffon.

Le designer libanais Ziad Nakad a présenté sa collection Couture printemps-été 2021, Les Oiseaux du Paradis, au Château de Vaux-Le-Vicomte inspiré par les restrictions de l’année écoulée, il a conçu une collection remplie de désir d’être libre.
La collection Birds of Paradise présentait des robes formelles majestueuses, transparentes et aérodées. Bruisé par les événements récents, désir d’évasion, de rêves, de voyages, Ziad voulait cette collection sexy, un peu frivole, afin de retrouver la vie insouciante d’hier.

Toutes les pièces sont entièrement brodées à la main dans l’atelier dudesigner. Le verrouillage a fourni du temps, et rien d’autre que le temps de créer avec une attention particulière à chaque vêtement. Du travail de perle aux plumes d’autruche se mêlent à la soie, dentelle, organza, et mousseline de soie.
La robe de mariée de la collection a nécessitétrois mois pour créer un accueil de trois mois d’évasion à absorber dans la beauté de la création.
