No Kings Movement

Republican and Walmart heiress Christy Walton, 76, and one of the wealthiest women in the country, with an estimated fortune of $19.3billion, broke away from traditional policy this week by taking out a full size "No Kings" ad in The New York Times to rally readers into action and show up, in their local cities, to join in the No Kings nationwide protests in their cities.

"In America, we don't do kings," reads the No Kings website, "They've defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services. "The advertisement also lists eight different principles Walton supports – from caring for "veterans and children" to defending "against the aggression of dictators." "We are the people of the United States of America. The honor, dignity, and integrity of our country are not for sale," reads the ad," Forbes reported.

Her effort apparently worked as interest in the No Kings protests, became a chain of resistance from coast to coast and in cities, large and small, including Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and Atlanta, to Topeka, KS, Rapid City, SD, Moscow, ID, and across the deep red south.

The movement, the foundation of which highlights the current administration excessive overreach, has reached many who trusted him with their vote. The policies of the Trump administration has shellshocked Americans and betrayed those who elected him believing he had their best interests as his objective. He has shown all Americans, that his interests are to set himself up as someone above the law, largely as his appointed Supreme court of five, has given him a blank check to enact laws, deport or disappear Americans, and interject himself, his rule of law into the autonomy of the individual state to run itself.

Immigration Protest and National Guard

In what appears to be a continual encroachment of states powers, President Trump violated federal law by federalizing California National Guard, overstepping its Constitutional authority. California Governor Gavin Newsom challenged the action, and secured a temporary injunction, which the Trump administration appealed to a higher court, and the order was stayed until the judiciary meet on June 17.

The Supremacy Clause (Article VI, Clause 2) established that federal law is supreme when there is a conflict with state law. The Trump administration has not yet claimed that Los Angeles, the nations second largest city, and home to the nation's largest undocumented population, that the sanctuary rights enacted by Los Angeles, violates the federal law, and therefore the supremacy clause supersedes the states right to govern themselves.

Trump, who has argued immediately upon assuming the presidency that he would strip government of bloated redundancies and return most expenses back to the states, which allows the states greater governance over their citizens, has violated his own philosophy and the Tenth Amendment by ordering federal troops into Los Angeles, without allowing the state to manage its own business.

Federalizing a state's national guard should only be activated during extreme state duress brought on by catastrophe, disaster or calamity, and not as a show of force in a war of political power prowess.

Judge Charles Breyer, of the Federal District Court in San Francisco, wrote in a 36 page ruling, the further militarization of Los Angeles would "inflames tensions with protesters, threatening increased hostilities and loss of life."

Trump's intent is to enflame the city's immigration population, so to create a situation, where gangs of brown skinned assailants become enraged and act in fear or anger to highlight the situation as the "element" that has taken over our streets, eaten our pets, killed our neighbors, and to deflect the notion of those illegal immigrants living in sanctuary cities that have been law-abiding, contributing members of society, and simply want a better life for themselves and their families.

"The White House had called Breyer's order "unprecedented" and said it "puts our brave federal officials in danger. The district court has no authority to usurp the President's authority as Commander in Chief," White House spokesperson Anna Kelly said in a statement. "The President exercised his lawful authority to mobilize the National Guard to protect federal buildings and personnel in Gavin Newsom's lawless Los Angeles. The Trump Administration will immediately appeal this abuse of power and looks forward to ultimate victory on the issue," PBS.org reported.

Trump Shifts Deportation Order

In an about face, President Trump has ordered Immigration and Custom Enforcement Agents, to pause raids on specific industries including hospitality, meat processing and packing, and migrant farm workers and other agricultural industries.

With the Trump-Musk fallout affecting his constituency support, and his strongarm policy surprising many in California, and in other states, the president has agreed to walk back a portion of his ICE orders, especially as it might also effect his hospitality holdings. He also stated that ICE agents were not to arrest undocumented law abiding citizens especially in these industries.

"The new guidance comes after protests in Los Angeles against the Trump administration's immigration raids, including at farms and businesses. It also came as Mr. Trump made a rare concession this week that his crackdown was hurting American farmers and hospitality businesses," reported The New York Times.

California Senator Padilla Arrested

California Senator Alex Padilla (D) was forcibly removed from a press conference he attended with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Neom. After identifying himself as a senator, security guards aided by federal officers began manhandling the 52 year old Mexican-American.

Padilla continued asking his question, attempting to secure a response from Secretary Neom while security forced him out into the hallway, forced him to his knees, demanded he place his hands behind his back, and as he was trying to comply, the very robust Los Angeles FBI officers pinned him to the ground, and handcuffed the senator.

The shocking reaction raised the temperature in a city already simmering with rage over targeted ICE enforcement raids on business. The aggressive action is part and parcel of the Trump administration, the audacity of challenging policy, and presenting an opinion or a narrative contrary. Moreover, the optics, which were captured by multiple news outlets, and the that Padilla is Mexican-American, with brown skin, reinforces a belief that anyone questioning Trump policy will be met with an aggressive and potentially injurious response.

Minnesota Lawmaker Assassinated

In a shocking result of the wave of civil unrest sweeping America, two democratic members of the Minnesota House, along with their spouses, were ambushed in their homes in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Former Minnesota House Speaker of the House Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, were fatally wounded in the attack. State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, sustained serious injuries and at the time of the announcements had survived the surgery, and were in grave but guarded condition.

Former Vice-Presidential candidate and Minnesota governor Tim Walz said in a statement, "We are not a country that settles our differences at gunpoint. We have demonstrated again and again in our state that it is possible to peacefully disagree that out state is strengthened by civil public debate. We must stand united against all forms of violence," reported ABCnews.com.

Champlin Police were called to the home of Minnesota State Senator John Hoffman at around 2:00am June 14, where both the senator and his wife were discovered suffering from gunshot wounds. Police than began to proactively perform wellness checks on other local elected officials within the area and arrived at the Hortman home, shortly after. The discovered what appeared to be a police vehicle in the driveway, with its emergency lights on and a "police officer" exiting the home.

When the suspect, Vance Boelter, 57, saw the officers he began firing and officers returned gunfire. The suspect fled the scene leaving his vehicle, where officers found a manifesto with a hit list of 70 potential targets. No Kings posters were also in the car, which resulted in the cancelling of all Minnesota No Kings protests being cancelled.

The city of Brooklyn Park, home to Ms. Hortman, was placed under a shelter-in-place order. The manhunt is active. He was seen wearing a police uniform, an impersonating a police officer, and carried a badge to gain access to the homes. His vehicle was equipped with police gear, lights, and loaded to appear genuine.

As tension in the middle east continue to escalate Israel launched an unprecedented missile attack on neighboring Iran, who immediately retaliated and fired at least 200 drone missile and 200 ballistic missiles in four waves toward the city of Haifa.

Air India Plane Crash Miracle

Air India flight 171, a Boeing 787 Max Dreamliner jet, bound for London, crashed in a densely populated neighborhood, shortly after takeoff, killing 241 passengers and crew, and fifty others on the ground. A single passenger survived the explosive impact.

Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, a British national, was seated in seat 11A, next to the emergency exit, and he has said when the plane crashed, the door opened, and he saw light. "I don't know how I survived. I saw people dying in front of my eyes – the air hostesses, and two people I saw near me… I walked out of the rubble," the man, whom local outlets have named Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, told DD News from his hospital bed in Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, per a translation posted by the Hindustan Times. Ramesh recalled taking off and then feeling like the plane was "stuck in the air" in the first "5 to 10 seconds," PeopleMagazine.com reported.

Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the crash, and they have found the black boxes, the flight recorders. However, they inability to gain altitude, and according to experts who examined the ill-fated jets' final moments, the plane's landing gear was still deployed and appeared to be experiencing circumstances similar to the doomed 737 Boeing jets that grounded the entire fleet.
