The leading Russian portal about cinema and theater Kino-Teatr.Ru within the framework of the creative laboratory KINO-TEATR.LAB 2021 launches a new direction "Video content" for those who want to learn how to make successful Internet shows.

The Russian portal also announced the winners in the directions "Series Script" and "Film Journalism and New Media" earlier this fall.

The creative laboratory was launched this summer in honor of the 15th anniversary of Kino-Teatra.Ru. Its goal is to create a professional community around the project and develop as a large new media that makes relevant, high-quality, and innovative content. The laboratory is a new format of free training, including workshops and lectures, the possibility of employment and launching your own project into production.

All citizens of the Russian Federation over 18 years of age can take part in the Video Content competition, for this you need to fill out an application on the website and make a presentation of your project ( https://www.kino-teatr.ru/lab/ ). It can be sketches, stand-ups, reviews, interviews, educational, culinary, travel shows, etc. The topic is not limited.

Russian Critics Named the Best TV Series Of 2021

Applications are accepted until November 14, based on the selection results, 10 finalists will undergo training in the production and promotion of video content with professional bloggers, TV and YouTube producers, experts in the field of filming and editing, as well as image makers.

The laboratory winners will have the opportunity to film a pilot release of their project with the prospect of further promotion and cooperation with one of the leading production companies.

The direction is curated by producer Iskander Khakimov, who has launched more than 30 successful shows, among them Fort Boyard, Dancing with the Stars, Battle of Choirs, Best of All! and etc.

Also, within the framework of the Creative Laboratory , the winners of the "Series Script" and "Film Journalism and New Media" directions were determined , for which more than 1,000 applications were submitted from 87 cities of Russia.

The course "Series Script" was attended by 20 people. The jury consisted of the course curator, director, screenwriter and actor Sergei Shvydkoy, as well as screenwriter, editor and producer Olga Berdnikova, director, screenwriter and producer Yekaterina Shagalova and editor-in-chief of Kino-Teatr.Ru Zhan Prosyanov.

The winner of the course was Roman Melnikov. Based on the results of the training, a pilot episode of his series "Rector" will be filmed.

Second and third place winners Evgeny Chernyakov and Sergey Pelipas (Left Defender) and Alexey Yuriev (Dreamers) will receive a producer's development of their project.

Nine participants were selected for the direction "Film journalism and new media". Its curator was the head of the Kino-Teatr.Ru news service, as well as the selector of the competition program of the international festival of web series Realist Web Fest Maria Tokmasheva. Three winners of Film Journalism and New Media - Valeria Tsiganova, Ivan Evseev, Maxim Grevtsev - received a paid internship at Kino-Teatr.Ru.

"We are very pleased that there is such a large demand for our Laboratory. And we are already seeing the fruits of this training. So, for example, following the results of the "Film Journalism and New Media" course, we found an employee with the functionality that we had been looking for for a long time . And we really hope that the series of the winner of the scripting direction, on which we are all working now, will be able to surprise the industry. "Video content" is a completely experimental direction for us. But we managed to attract top teachers and experts, so we are looking forward to the start of the course," noted Zhan Prosyanov, chief editor of Kino-Teatr.Ru.
