The Annual NYC “Join The Voices! Run/Walk” in Central Park

Voices Against Brain Cancer, in partnership with New York Road Runners, will host its annual "Join the Voices! Run/Walk" on Sunday, December 2, 2012 in Central Park, New York.

The charitable event will feature a five-mile run, a scenic walk, kids' races and a fun family festival to raise fund for brain cancer and brain tumor research.


An Evening of Food & Foto’s for Foundation Rwanda


American Icon Tony Danza will act as the official Master of Ceremonies. Michael Weiner, Executive Director of the Major League Baseball Players Association will receive the Vision of Hope Award in recognition of his advocacy for those battling brain cancers. Olympic Silver Medalist Sasha Cohen will present the Youth Ambassador Award honoring a young individual who has worked hard to support the cause.


OCEANA Hosts Celebrity Studded Benefit


On Sunday, December 2nd the Opening Ceremony begins at 8:15am in Central Park, New York City at The Bandshell Area, directly South of the 72nd Street Transverse. The Award Presentations begin at 9:30am.                                               

Among those honored will be Gary Lichtenstein Humanitarian Award, Dr. Andrew Lassman, MD of Columbia University's Medical Center, Vision of Hope Award: Michael Weiner, Executive Director of the Major League Baseball Players Association.
