Filled with veggies, children can practice their knife skills (always in the presence of an adult) to dice the frittata egg mixture. Using a cupcake tin, which most children are familiar with, their understanding of heat reactions in the ingredients and baking shapes will feed (no pun intended) the hearty imagination of a young chef.

The "Side" section (page 59) several selections on the versatile potato from 'Spell for Reuniting Potatoes" (page 60 to "Newt Saliva and Fries (page 69). A unique take on Chickpeas is used for "Petrified Spiders" (page 70) which takes the bland adds spices, mixes, and bakes until crispy, perfect for a party night snack platter.

No witches spell would be complete with a shiny, inviting apple to coax anyone from their path. Desserts and Treats, (page 77) offers the perfect "Poisoned Apple Pie" recipe (page 86). An intermediate level difficulty creating this delicious and alluring treat will bring pleasure and memories.
