Paris Fashion Week: Maria Aristidou Spring Summer 2018 Collection – Luxurious, Exotic, Mystical

Close your eyes and fly to the Secret Gardens of Alexander. A utopia, a fantasy land that euphoria is the only feeling of existence. A land with unending gardens of delicate Japanese flowers, of beauty that begs for surrender.

Of lands where the human eye is unable to fully comprehend the brilliance. A land with human smiles that never will be forgotten and always watching over us.

One of them, close to my heart is Alexander Boulais. My agent in Paris. The person that with his instinct believed in my work.

NYBFW ’18 MUSE by Berta Review – Bold Elegance, Intricate Detailing, Sensual Silhouettes

A gentle human soul, a noble man that was always calm, soft spoken with a genuine smile and loved his garden!

May you be the wind and the light that crosses your Secret Gardens and always be a shining star upon us!

Maria Aristidou, a specialist in couture knit wear, created a fantasy colorful world for spring-summer day-wear-evening-wear for women that romance, positive energy and freedom are the safety keys for happiness.

A playground of flower patterns with silk viscose and metallic yarns where elaborate embroideries decorate the luxurious knit fabrics creations for the women today.

A collection with carefree curves and sleek cuts with unexpected details, and accessories that complete the beauty of this womens wear secret garden story.

NYBFW ’18 Rime Arodaky Review – Beautiful Styling, Avant Garde Designs, Embodies the Free Spirit

Review

Maria Aristidou's Spring/Summer 2018 Collection is a palette of romantic, mystical, and exotic resort and evening wear where fantasies of distant lands, in mind or memory, weave their way into the designs.

The line radiates of an island paradise on faraway shores, of walking through ancient ruins, of local cultures. Wardrobe essentials oversize caftans, baby doll rompers, for day and lounging.

The vital little black dress, full length, maxi, knits slip dress, slacks with cropped matching tops and beautiful free flowing loose summer dresses for eveing, dinner and late night strolls along the promenade.

Stunning designs, beautiful, luxurious, exotic.

Well, its official, after no less than the second major late night shake-up in almost as many years, Jimmy Fallon will in fact be taking over NBC’s The Tonight Show from Jay Leno as of 2014. Of course, to call its departing host of more than twenty years anything less than polarizing would be inaccurate, but still, this just feels a bit wrong.
