Emeril Lagasse's Las Vegas Restaurants Earn 2016 Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards; Full Dining Guide Revealed in August Issue

Emeril Lagasse's Las Vegas restaurants have been honored for their outstanding wine programs in Wine Spectator's 2016 Restaurant Wine List Awards. Delmonico Steakhouse, Emeril's New Orleans Fish House and Table 10 are recognized among other winners from all over the globe as top destinations for wine lovers.

Delmonico Steakhouse, located in The Venetian, was awarded the Grand Award, the program's highest honor for the twelfth consecutive year.  This elite group comprises the world's best wine programs, which delivers serious breadth of top producers, outstanding depth in mature vantages, a selection of large-format bottles, excellent harmony with the menu and superior presentation. Wine Spectator carefully assesses each Grand Award candidate, including rigorous independent, on-site inspections of the wine program, cellar, service, ambiance and cuisine of the restaurant.

Emeril's New Orleans Fish House, located in the MGM Grand, was awarded the Best of Award of Excellence, which recognizes restaurants with more extensive selections with significant vintage depth and excellent breadth across multiple regions.  Emeril's New Orleans Fish House has won this award for 18 consecutive years.

Table 10, located in the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Palazzo, has won the Award of Excellence for the eighth time, recognizing restaurants with wine lists featuring a well-chosen assortment of quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.

"We're honored to have all three of our restaurants included on Wine Spectator's award list," said Mike Olsen, director of operations for Emeril Lagasse's Las Vegas restaurants.  "We strive to bring the best of the best to our guests across the board through our food and beverage offerings and are excited to be recognized for our efforts."

"On behalf of Wine Spectator, I'm thrilled to congratulate each and every award-winning restaurant. They should be very proud," said Marvin R. Shanken, editor and publisher, Wine Spectator.

Wine Spectator began its program to recognize the world's best wine lists in 1981. There are three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence and the Grand Award-with 2,414; 1,093; and 88 winners this year in each respective category. Seven of the Grand Award winners are first timers.

The complete list of award winners is available in print in Wine Spectator's August issue, on newsstands July 19, and online at the newly minted Restaurants.WineSpectator.com, where visitors can search and access exclusive content on the more than 3,500 restaurants. The full list is also available for free on iOS via the new Restaurant Awards app, which allows users to look for dining spots in any location with maps, choosing by wine strengths, cuisine type, pricing and more.
