Beltway Insider: Trump Stumbles on Foreign Trip; Manchester; G7 Sours; Rome Earth Protests; Kaine Son Arrested

President Donald Trump pushed, shoved, and bullied his way through his inaugural foreign trip setting the tone for his presidency as he met with foreign leaders emphasizing his agenda wouldn't be set by previous agreements or administrations.

According to Gallup, President Trump's job approval, over the past week, increased four percentage points to 42% of those polled who approve of his effectiveness as President and those who disapprove of his effectiveness as President decreased four percentage points to 54%.

Trump Tumbles, Stumbles and Falls in Inaugural Euro Trip

President Donald Trump is facing an intense fall out from other G7 nations for his recent behaviors, including leaking sensitive information to the media in a fluid terror investigation and holding up a consensus in Global Warming matters.

During the two day G7 Summit, the President managed to alienate the two main allies that the United States have forged throughout the past decade.

The G7 Summit, as always brings together the leaders from the world's seven major economies, to discuss the global issues that are relevant to all and cross all borders without discrimination.

This summit was no different in discussion with Global Warming and Terrorism taking center stage as the Manchester Bombing still fresh and the Paris Accord set to be renewed by newly elected world leaders.

The four major documents or agreements coming out of the 2017 Italian G7 include the Leaders Communique, the document of who we are, our manifest, what we believe and stand for, a constitution of sorts governing the nations of the world.

The Communique, and the three subsequent agreements to come out of the summit, can be read here.

The additional three documents include the G7 People-Centered Action Plan on Innovation, Skills, and Labor; G7 Roadmap for a Gender-Responsive Economic Environment and G7 Taormina Statement on the Fight Against Terrorism and Violent Extremism.

The Manchester Bombing led the communique as the leaders collectively stated in item one: "We, the Leaders of the G7, stand united in expressing our deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims of the brutal terrorist act in Manchester in the United Kingdom. We condemn in the strongest terms terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The following fourteen points affirm the global dedication to an annihilation of the Islamic State and to drive out extremism wherever it manifests, in any form it takes.

Global Warming

Unfortunately, the unity affirmed in the fight against Terrorism and Extremism didn't cross into other pressing issues. The Paris Agreement, of which was reached over years of effort and declarations each leader and nations, in still in the forefront of all nations except the United States.

President Trump's unusual move to back away from a consensus did not bring any other nation to the table to renege on their agreements.

In an unusual move the leaders of the G7, minus President Trump stated in the Point 32 of the G7 Leaders Communique the following: "The United States of America is in the process of reviewing its policies on climate change and on the Paris Agreement and thus is not in a position to join the consensus on these topics. Understanding this process, the Heads of State and of Government of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom and the Presidents of the European Council and of the European Commission reaffirm their strong commitment to swiftly implement the Paris Agreement, as previously stated at the Ise-Shima Summit."

Takeaways from The G7

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, whom is considered the most powerful women in European Union, walked away from this G7 stating, The United States and Britain are not allies Germany can depend on any longer. The times in which we could rely fully on others, they are somewhat over," she said.

Manchester Bombing, 22 Dead and 120 Injured,

UK Prime Minster Teresa May suspended the sharing of Terror Intelligence with the United States after the name of Manchester Bomber was released before British Terror agencies and all directly involved had gathered and followed through on all evidentiary information.

Media organizations have been criticized for publishing photographs gathered at the scene which were deemed "sensitive and part of an ongoing investigation." The photos show pieces of the bomber sack, the suicide belt device the bomb was carried, and the detonator.

Published by the New York Times, who refused to apologize, the publication of the crime scene photographs which triggered an international incident causing the British Intelligence to cease sharing information, a longtime practice between allies.

The active crime scene photos may not be the core of the incident publishing the identity however alerts those who may be known combatants and accessories giving them time to remove incriminating evidence or worse.

Responding to the leaks President Trump said, "The alleged leaks coming out of government agencies are deeply troubling. There is no relationship we cherish more than the Special Relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom."

After the Manchester Bombing a member of the Trump White House obtained sensitive terror intelligence and proceeded to blurt out the details without thought, care or concern that the revelation of the information may in fact cause even greater death and destruction within the city.

The unfortunate facts remain that this president will share sensitive information with those whom he believes he can gain favor either now or in the future. The president may be building a post White House coalition for his business agenda which leans heavily on his dealings at present.

The Aftermath

The Manchester Arena bombing delivered by a suicide bomber who built the nail and bolt shrapnel loaded device, after the May 22, 2017 Ariana Grande concert in the connecting tunnel between the 22,000 seat arena and the foyer of the  arena which opens into Victoria Station subway that runs beneath the venue.

Designed for mass causality, the homemade suicide belt was detonated, at approximately 10:30pm (local time), by Salman Ramaden Abedi, 22, who had recently returned from Libya. The force of the blast split the British Muslim in half and sent projectiles spraying across  the room. He was killed instantly.

The Manchester Arena bombing left 22 dead and 120 physically injured. Those who died have since been identified as: Chloe Rutherford, 17 and Liam Curry, 19; Megan Hurley, 15; Courtney Boyle, 18, and Philip Tron, 32; Wendy Fawell, 50; Elaine McIver; Eilidh MacLeod, 14, Sorrell Leczkowski, 14; Nell Jones, 14; Martyn Hett; Michelle Kiss, 45; Jane Tweddle-Taylor, 50; Marci, 42 and Angelika, 49 Klis; Kelly Brewster, 32; Olivia Campbell, 15; John Atkinson, 26; Alison Howe, 45; Lisa Lees, 47; Saffie-Rose Roussos, 8; Georgina Callander, 18.

Terror Network

The arrests from Monday's Terror Attack continue with 14 people initially arrested; two were released.  The Terror Threat level had been increased to "Critical" indicating the possibility of another terror attack was imminent. It has since been lowered to "Severe" indicting citizens need to remain vigilant as attacks are possible.

Abedi who was described as a "peripheral" player was also known as an Islamic State fighter sympathizer. It has been reported he had grown increasing despondent over what he deemed was discriminatory and alienating treatment the Muslim in Britain received and those disgruntled feelings become the opportunity for the Islamic State to radicalize him and apparently members of his family.

His brother, Ismail Abedi, 23, was arrested in Libya and appeared to have helped the younger brother plan the attack remaining in close contact even speaking to him up to 15 minutes before the attack. His father was also arrested in Libya.

The last two attacks in the United Kingdom have been performed by those deemed on the outer bands or "peripheral" ISIS soldiers, each have been known to MI5 and deemed to be low level threats. Each have acted in compliance to "orders" received via cell phone, or instant messaging apps or in this case the "go ahead" may have been relayed through the call he received from his brother.

The fact remains these low level ISIS sympathizers are as dedicated to the Islamic State cause and methodology as any of those on the radar of any of the Counter-terror Agencies.

Any Islamic Fighter, weekend sympathizer, or extremist is a danger and poses an imminent threat to society no matter the assessment level deemed by the nation state's counter terror organizations and should be considered as such.

Trump Addresses White House Security Leaks (Full Release)

The alleged leaks coming out of government agencies are deeply troubling. These leaks have been going on for a long time and my Administration will get to the bottom of this. The leaks of sensitive information pose a grave threat to our national security.

I am asking the Department of Justice and other relevant agencies to launch a complete review of this matter, and if appropriate, the culprit should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

There is no relationship we cherish more than the Special Relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom.

Trump Earns Millions on Secret Service Rent in Trump Towers; Announces Federal Budget

President Donald Trump, who prides himself on being a pro bono president, recently created a major photo opportunity to show the White House Press Corp the validity of his claims and efforts as he attempted to donate his $73,000 paycheck to the Parks Department.

Smoke and mirrors are a major aspect of this president's image, 'fake it till you make it' a common and well understood phrase, is closer to the truth of the real Donald Trump Presidency.

Trump as well as first daughter Ivanka, have agreed not to accept salaries for the employment. They didn't indicate they would accept the positions at a deeply reduced salary, Ivana, Mr. Trump's first wife and mother of Ivanka, worked for $1.00 and all the ball gowns/dresses she needed, during Mr. Trump's Atlantic City Casino heyday.

President Trump and Ivanka each enjoy the rewards of the job; obviously the President more so and the fact remains the adult children all of whom are provided a Secret Service detail are bankrupting the Secret Service budget.

Each weekend the president and his children travel to one of the his many home's. The president himself has stayed at West Palm Beach, Florida, the Mar-a-Largo frequently and has both the President of China and the Prime Minster of Japan stay at his private club also.

Not once did the President offer to donate his salary to cover the Secret Service details of his children, all of whom have lifestyles that contribute to an image of opulence and excess.

The President recently announced the Federal Budget. To the American people, who gather around the Kitchen table pouring over the monthly bills, looking to balance the budget, he dumbed the massive federal budget down once again so the American people can understand his thinking.

"We will balance the budget without making cuts in Social Security and Medicare. We will achieve our goals by doing exactly what you do in your home: setting priorities, cutting the fat, and growing new opportunities. And the big thing for me is economic growth, which is not possible without safety and security."

A recent Beltway Insider (May 7, 2017) included "Trump Kids Play Sleight of Hand with the American Public."

The Trump Family are continuing to pillage the U.S. Treasury and have found a never-ending tap to build on over the next four years. It's doubtful the First Lady will ever live at the White House as keeping her at Trump Towers brings in a cool $6.2million per month in Secret Service housing costs.

The President in fact is accepting payments from the Secret Service for nearly $6.2Million dollars a month in rental fees to house the details that secure the safety of the First lady and son Barron. That equates to nearly $72Million annually.

At one time a $200,000.00 cap was placed on security details for adult children. That has recently been vetoed and the new cap has not been disclosed.

St. Peter's Basilica Hosts Protest Sign

In the first of its kind, Greenpeace Italy and Greenpeace Germany activists sent a message to President Donald Trump as he arrived in Rome for his visit with Pope Francis and the G7 Summit meeting, the first for the newly elected President.

"Planet Earth First" was projected on the dome of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome where the Anti-Climate Change Anti Global Warming Denialist President would be sure to see the message before his meeting with World Leaders.

"Climate change is the ultimate threat of our generation and World leaders are taking action now to safeguard our people. Trump must not be allowed to shirk his moral responsibility or renege on America's Paris commitments. Ahead of his meeting with the Pope, we delivered to Trump a message that his first priority must be to people and planet, not the profits of polluters. Trump cannot stop the clean energy transition and should instead focus on accelerating it," said Jennifer Morgan, Greenpeace International Executive Director.

The message may have fallen on deaf ears as President Trump was the only world leader present at the G7 who did not renew his commitment to the Paris Agreement.

The historic Paris Agreement, which an historic 200 nations, agreed to lower emission and limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, was signed and intact renewed by all nations including China, except the United States. President Trump left the G7 without renewing the United States commitment to the Paris Agreement.

"If Trump decides to abandon the Paris deal, he will not only harm the planet, but also his own country. In contrast to Trump, Pope Francis has made a clear stand for the protection of the world's climate, here and now, and we are here to remind Trump about that," Greenpeace Germany energy expert Andree Boehling said.

Pope Francis, who hasn't backed away from global issues included in his edicts, the first papal document, or encyclical, dedicated to the environment, said in 2015 that climate protection should be the world's top priority. The Pope also called for coal, oil, and gas to be abandoned in favor of renewable energy.

President Trump travels to Hamburg Germany in July for the G20, the next major gathering of World Leaders.

Son of Former VP Candidate Tim Kaine Arrested For March Rally

Michael Linwood Kaine, the youngest son of Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, the former Vice-Presidential candidate, was arrested in Minneapolis, Minnesota, over the weekend for disrupting a pro-Trump rally in March 2017 and resisting arrest.

The three misdemeanor charges carry a maximum penalty of up to 18 months and fines up to $5,000.00.

Prosecutors indicate din the complaint up to 125 protesters "most of whom were peaceful" were aware of a permitted pro-Trump rally. They attempted to disrupt the event, they changed into menacing all black clothing with face and head coverings. Members of the anti-protestors tossed smoke bombs, mace and fireworks. It spiraled out of control. The Pro-Trump rally was held at the Minnesota state Capital.

Kaine broke away from the counter-protestors and ran from the building. A police officer chased him, ordering him to stop. He continued running and was tackled where he initially resisted arrest. He went limp and spoke clearly to the arresting officers that he "was no longer resisting." He was arrested.
