Blind, the upcoming indie film with big star power, recently held the premiere and after party in Manhattan drawing the films Director, Michael Mailer, talent, Demi Moore, Alec Baldwin and Dylan McDermott, and others to the hot spot Bagatelle in the Meatpacking District.

From Vertical Entertainment, who hold the U.S. distribution rights, Blind brings to the screen almost a timeless Manhattan story of money, corruption, and love, unexpected, showing up as a silver lining to a very bad situation.

The premise of the suspense-love-thriller has a novelist blinded in a car crash, played by Alec Baldwin, that killed his wife rediscovering his passion for both life and writing when he embarks on an affair with the neglected wife, played by Demi Moore, of an indicted businessman, played by Dylan McDermott who is faced with prison time and by association his wife is also indicted. Her sentence of community service has her reading to the blind.

Blind is set for a July 14, 2017 release. The major star power and unique Manhattan story and backdrop should have this independent film taking its genre.

Guests enjoying Bagatelle’s culinary creations, Line 39 and Day Owl wines and included cast and crew members Alec Baldwin (with his wife Hilaria), Demi Moore, Dylan McDermott and fiancée Maggie Q), Eden Epstein, Drew Moerlin, director Michael Mailer and writer John Buffalo Mailer.

At the Bagatelle party, to get into the BLIND spirit, guests received Foster Grants sunglasses from an expansive eyewear booth, and sipped Line 39 and Day Owl wines and hydrated with Essentia Water and were regaled with performances by Ann Hampton Callaway and Sasha Lazard.

Event was generously sponsored by Bagatelle New York, Day Owl Rose, Foster Grant Sunglasses and Essentia Water.
