Buckingham Palace announced via a press release today, that Prince William, heir to the throne of England and his wife, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce they are expecting their third child.

The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.

As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children's Centre in London today. The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace.

Hyperemesis Gravidarum is very acute morning sickness, which may require supplementary hydration, medication and nutrients.

The Royal couples first two children, Prince George of Cambridge, 5, third in line for the throne, will begin kindergarten at the Thomas’s Battersea Preparatory  school this term, and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, 2,  fourth in throne behind her paternal grandfather, her father and brother, is preparing for pre-school. The royal order of succession law remains in line of birth, per order of the Queen, and all daughters of the Duke and Duchess will retain birthright succession order.

They couple recently changed their official residence, to Princess Diana’s former home, Kensington Palace,  in London, to be nearer educational opportunities for their children.

With the 20th anniversary of their mother, Diana, the Princess of Wales, death, in 1997, both Prince William and his brother, Prince Harry, participated in marking of her death with visits to her grave site and openly speaking of her and their feelings after she passed away.
