Trump Implodes Fires Secretary of State

President Donald Trump once again exhibited his tendency to make swift, permanent and irrational decisions fired his Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, moving the former F.B.I. director to his position.

Trump's second year is beginning to look more like his first, unstable and irrational action of a neophyte president whose still on the post-election party train and not as someone who has survived his first year, by luck as contractually he cannot be terminated, without the skill to make solid and stable choices.

Putin Re-Elected as President of Russian Federation

President Vladimir Putin has handily won a second term as president securing 79.9 percent of the vote, after his main opposition Alexei Navalny was barred from the race, which meant Putin had no serious competition entering into this presidential race.

Putin had previously served as president of Russian from 2000 to 2008 and was re-elected in 2012. Russians serve six year terms. Putin war elected to a third, non-consecutive term, this weekend making it his third term as president of Russian.

Putin, who was also the former head of the KGB, the Russian equivalent to the CIA, essentially secured a smooth path to a third term after the suspicious deaths of his two closest political rivals.

Death by Putin

Boris Nemtsov, a former Deputy Prime Miinster, was killed in a drive by shooting, on a bridge, within view of the Kremlin in February 2015. Nemtsov was vocally opposed to the annexation of the Ukraine and challenged Putin on his position. He also called for a Political rally in Moscow, days before he died.

Nemtsov was a Kremlin insider, a leading reformer and consider someone with potential to succeed Putin in the polls.

"But Putin's critics couldn't help drawing parallels with the unexplained deaths of other Kremlin foes. '"I have an impression - I hope it's only an impression - that the practice of killing political opponents has started spreading in Russia,"' said Gennady Gudkov, a former parliamentarian and ex-security services officer, to the Moscow Times," as reported in The Chicago Tribune.

Many others who have supported Putin and been privy to his inner workings, motivations and dirty secrets have wound up dead. Over the past fifteen years at least ten former associates have been killed. Having successfully managed to clean his closet of any links to wrongdoing Putin is becoming increasingly bold and acting without restraint.

A fixture in his camp during his early days of his first term, Boris Berezovsky was a Putin ally. A tycoon he single handedly orchestrated a smear campaign of Nemtsov smoothing the way for Putin to secure the election.

He grew critical of Putin six years later after the former President had Alexander Litcinenko, a former intelligence officer with the KGB, murdered in London. Openly criticizing Putin on any issue, ever, is the beginning of the end. Berezovsky was found with a noose around his neck. Although initially ruled a suicide the coroner, changed his original finding and later indicated the exact reason for his death was unknown.

Putin's Next Move

After Russian President hosted the 2012 Sochi Olympic and used the international sporting event to amass a military presence that would be considered pro-active in the fight against terrorism and go unquestioned by world leaders and turned out to be the beginnings of the annexation of the Crimea peninsula.

This direct violation of the Ukraine's sovereignty cost Putin membership to the G8 Leadership summit, of which he has remained suspended even after the election of President Donald Trump. Putin essentially has nothing to lose.

Under the former administration he backed away publicly from his support of Bashar al-Assad, and claimed any weapons supplied the ostracized leader was simply the fulfillment of a previous weapons order between the two nations.

Putin has now amplified his support of al-Assad reign of terror on his citizens again using the situation to amass weapons and create a military presence.

Prime Minister Theresa May Gets Silence from Russians; Ignores Deadline

Prime Minister Theresa May, in response to the poisoning of a former double agent, issued a deadline to the Russian government of which they ignored setting in motion a set of sanctions mirroring the 2006 actions following the poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko.

The attempted murder of Sergei Skripal, 66, and his daughter Yulia, 33, and the murder of Nikolai Glushkov, a ally of Putin Critic Boris Berezovsky, was also killed. The Prime Minister has linked the two attempted murders and the murder of Glushkov calling the death too much of a coincidence too be natural.

"In a strongly worded statement to the House of Commons that is likely to plunge UK-Russia relations to a new low, May said the "military grade" nerve agent used in the attack had been identified as Novichok, a substance developed in the Soviet Union in the 1970s. May said the Russian ambassador has been summoned to the UK Foreign Office to explain whether the attack was "a direct action by the Russian state," or the result of the Russian government "losing control" of its stock nerve agents," as reported in the BBC.

Stopping short of calling the action an act of war against the U.K., Prime Minster May explained the Russians owe them a credible response.

In a joint issued statement the leaders of France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States condemn the attack, assess the instigator of these crimes to be Russia, and agree on the finding of the nerve agent, developed in the 1970's in the Soviet Union. The statement is below.

We, the leaders of France, Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom, abhor the attack that took place against Sergei and Yulia Skripal in Salisbury, United Kingdom, on March 4, 2018.

A British police officer who was also exposed in the attack remains seriously ill, and the lives of many innocent British citizens have been threatened. We express our sympathies to them all, and our admiration for the United Kingdom police and emergency services for their courageous response.

This use of a military-grade nerve agent, of a type developed by Russia, constitutes the first offensive use of a nerve agent in Europe since the Second World War. It is an assault on the United Kingdom's sovereignty and any such use by a state party is a clear violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention and a breach of international law. It threatens the security of us all.

The United Kingdom thoroughly briefed its allies that it was highly likely that Russia was responsible for the attack. We share the United Kingdom's assessment that there is no plausible alternative explanation, and note that Russia´s failure to address the legitimate request by the government of the United Kingdom further underlines Russia's responsibility.

We call on Russia to address all questions related to the attack in Salisbury. Russia should, in particular, provide full and complete disclosure of the Novichok program to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).

Our concerns are also heightened against the background of a pattern of earlier irresponsible Russian behavior. We call on Russia to live up to its responsibilities as a member of the U.N. Security Council to uphold international peace and security.

Russia's First Wave Invasion on United States

Putin, in systematically killing or having former detractors, voices of dissent, critics of his regime killed he is also closing the door on any clandestine or secret programs or operations that were discussed loosely, theoretically or for the possibility of future plans.

Expecting an invasion through military power works when your nation borders the aggressor; when it does not the first wave invasion has to be a cyber build up.

As recent as three days ago, The Department of Homeland Security accused Russian of "remotely targeting the U.S. power grid as part of its newly unveiled sanctions on the country."

"Russia has attempted to attack targets that include "'energy, nuclear, commercial facilities, water, aviation, and critical manufacturing sectors"' since March 2016, DHS said. Gaining access to the networks that are tied to various aspects of US infrastructure is extremely difficult, said Vikram Thakur, of Symantec Security Response. Thakur, a technical director at Symantec, added that cyberattacks like the one DHS described Thursday have the potential to cause significant damage, unlike those in which the attacker is solely looking for information. "The only thing that holds an attacker back is political motivation," Thakur said as reported in CNN.

Prosecutor Seeks Death Penalty for Marjory Stoneman Killer

March 14, 2018, one month to the date, after the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland Florida, Nikolas Cruz stood before a Broward County judge, unable to speak and unable to utter the words all expected the teen to speak.

Attorneys for the accused waived the reading of the entire 34 count indictment, and the judge entered a plea of "Not Guilty" on behalf of Mr. Cruz. She indicated the trial date would be set for April 27, 2018.

ENOUGH Movement Unifies Teens On Ending Gun Violence

The ENOUGH Movement, birthed from the Marjory Douglas Stoneman High School Massacre, organized a National Walkout across America, in every city as they dedicated themselves to ending gun violence in our schools and remembering those senselessly killed.

The stories of students dedicated and determined to stopping school violence was overwhelming. A single female student walked out at 10am of an assembly designed round the gun violence issues and sat silently for seventeen minutes along at her school's flag pole. What courage! Standing alone for a cause you believe is a sign of strong character.

Student united in Florida, in Chicago, in Los Angeles and in Beverly Hills, students across the nation, in warm weather, cold weather and in sub-zero weather students took 17 minutes out of their days to stand for something in an age when confrontation, rage and violence take the headlines.

These teens, a nation of tomorrow voter's, are ready to take on the mighty, those who say no to modifying gun laws, who say no to stopping school zones from becoming war zones and those who say no, simply out of tradition and ingrained response.

Well these kids, their parents, teachers, countless others, citizens who vote, say yes. The time is now, Enough is enough. No more senseless massacre; no more. #enough.

Two additional marches are planned.

Stephen Hawking Renowned Physicist Dies

Stephen Hawking, the renowned physicist died this week, after defeating the odds and living what could be considered a full life span, with ALS. He was 76.

Days before his death he filed a paper which is considered to be his most exciting to date which describes the belief in multi-universes, the belief in more than one or multi-universe all created through the big band system of belief.

Hawking was confined to a wheelchair in 1964 after the ravages of ALS took his ability to control his body and left his mind. Most die from the memories of "hell Yes" days and simply walking. Hawking became a mind to be reckoned with and continued to grace the world with his theories.

He is probably the most famous physicist to have ever lived. He died peacefully in his home March 14, 2018.

Matt Damon Finalizes Move To Australia

Matt Damon announced this week he would be moving his family to the land down under to escape the tyranny of the Trump Presidency.

The vocal democrat, like many, have been disillusioned over the loss of Hillary Clinton at the hands of someone who apparently cheated to secure victory.

Damon, whose actions will have long term effects on both his box office appeal, has chosen to desert his country instead of using his voice and far reaching influence to champion change in the upcoming 2018 mid-term elections.

With 435 seats up for re-election in November 2018, the actor could have become part of the conversation for change and donated time, talent and funding in a nationwide campaign effort for every democrat running for the House of Representatives in order to facilitate a party shift. Instead he is bowing out, deserting his nation, and all those who supported his efforts at the box office.
